CSA T20 Challenge – Wednesday 30th November Matches Betting Preview

We’ve reached the middle of the week which means we have more CSA T20 Challenge cricket to enjoy on Wednesday with two matches taking place in the tournament and for two of the sides they are huge games.

The Titans and Warriors occupy the top two spots and they can all but secure spots in the playoffs with wins on Wednesday but were the Dolphins or the Knights to win against them it would significantly boost their chances of making the postseason. The Warriors vs Knights match is the televised one and we’ll begin with that.

Warriors vs Knights

There is no doubt that the Knights have been the disappointment of the tournament so far. They went into the event touted to do well and the signing of David Miller made them a force to be reckoned with but they haven’t really been able to deliver the goods without him and one win in five tells its own story.

The Warriors have been the opposite. They have probably been the surprise package of the tournament and sit second in the table with three wins from their four matches and even though Colin Ingram faces a fitness test here I’ve got to be with the home side.

He only has a top score of 16 in the tournament anyway so they are getting the job done without his impact. Were he to play and make an impact that would be a bonus but even without him there’s enough to get the job done.

Dolphins vs Titans

The high profile match of the night sees the third placed Dolphins taking on the leaders Titans and you get the feeling this will be an extremely hard fought contest between two of the better sides in the country.

I’ve mentioned in the past how I can’t be trusting the Dolphins until they have KP back. The good news for them here is that he is back and not only is he back but they have Keshav Maharaj back as well and they are significant inclusions.

You have to give credit to the Titans. They have been fantastic all season and already have a thrashing of the Dolphins to their name this season but it would only be human nature if they subconsciously dropped their level given the lead they have in the table and they need to ensure that doesn’t happen.

It was a Ferhaan Behardien blitz that took the game away from the Dolphins when these two met for the first time but at the prices I’m prepared to take a Dolphins win here. Their bowling attack is significantly boosted with Maharaj’s return and KP can win any game on his own. There are others in their batting line up who can deliver too. Titans are deserving favourites but I think this could be closer than the odds suggest so I’ll go with the Dolphins at a big looking price.
