Big Matches
The match of the night will come from San Jose where the Earthquakes host the Western Conference leaders Sporting Kansas City while two powerful names meet in the first match of the night at Yankee Stadium when New York City FC host the champion Seattle Sounders. Los Angeles Galaxy against Houston Dynamo is an interesting clash in the west.
Best of the Rest
The top two in the Eastern Conference are in action on Saturday when Toronto FC host DC United and Chicago Fire, the form team in MLS right now, head to New England for a tricky clash with the Revolution. FC Dallas will look to get back on track when they head to Vancouver while Atlanta against Columbus Crew could be entertaining with play-off implications in the east on it.
Betting
We are getting to that time of the season where I like to get stuck into the goal markets in the MLS and there are three such matches that catch my eye on Saturday. They are three all-Eastern Conference clashes too.
Atlanta United are often involved in high scoring matches while Columbus Crew have a good go on the road so I’m fully expecting to see goals in that one and with the New England Revolution going well right now and Chicago Fire the form side in the league who are devastating on the counter attack I very much fancy goals in that one too.
Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore are expected to play up front for Toronto FC for the first time in a while and I expect the two to combine for a few goals against a DC United defence that would shed a bucket load but for their goalkeeper. They do find the net at the other end though so this is another game I expect to exceed its goal line.
