The latest weekend of action continues in the MLS on Saturday evening when another bunch of matches take place as both Conferences head towards the halfway mark of the regular leg of the campaign.

Big Matches
The TV action starts right from the start of the evening as two of the more entertaining sides to watch in the Western Conference meet when Sporting Kansas City go up against Los Angeles FC in a potentially high scoring match. Toronto FC will then look to inject some life into their season when they play host to a FC Cincinnati side who won in midweek but who should be there for the taking. The televised action concludes in the Western Conference where the San Jose Earthquakes will look to bounce back from a horrendous midweek result when they host the LA Galaxy.
Best of the Rest
Two matches jump off the card among the other matches. The first of those is the one which sees the Western Conference leaders Seattle Sounders going up against Vancouver Whitecaps in the Cascadia Cup. The other one sees the Portland Timbers taking on Minnesota United who both go into the match in decent enough form. Elsewhere, Philadelphia Union will look to keep tabs with the top two in the Eastern Conference when they head to Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Fire. The other two matches sees Real Salt Lake facing Houston Dynamo and Nashville SC meeting CF Montreal.
Betting
I’ll go with one bet over the course of the evening which comes in the match down in Florida where Toronto FC take on FC Cincinnati in a match that I expect the home side to win. I have a lot of sympathy for the Canadian outfit this season. They have had played out injured and there is this ongoing issue between manager and Jozy Altidore, all this while not being able to play on their home turf because of the travel restrictions.
The end result of that is they have one win to their name this season but since the return from the international break they have been more competitive and while they go into this match off the back of four straight defeats, three of those were to Orlando City who are second in the table and Columbus Crew who are the champions. Their sole win came against the Crew which shows what they can do. There were higher hopes for FC Cincinnati this term given the recruitment in the summer but there have been no signs of significant improvement and wins over Montreal and Chicago flatter their record a little bit. There is no doubt in my mind that Toronto are the better of these two sides and I’ll back them to show that in this match.
