Big Matches
The televised action begins at the Gillette Stadium where the Eastern Conference leaders New England Revolution host Nashville SC in a competitive looking match while the next game to be shown live is the Florida derby between Orlando City SC and Inter Miami, the latter of whom might just be finding their feet after a terrible start to the season. The last two TV games come from Los Angeles. LA Galaxy take on Real Salt Lake in a key Western Conference clash while the match of the night sees Los Angeles FC going up against Sporting Kansas City who will be looking to bounce back from a surprise defeat at the weekend.
Best of the Rest
The champions are in action on Wednesday night when the Columbus Crew play host to DC United who will be competitive in that one. The form team in the Eastern Conference are New York City FC and they make the trip to Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Fire while over in the Western Conference the leaders Seattle Sounders look to get their campaign back on track when they play host to FC Dallas. The Portland Timbers meet the San Jose Earthquakes in what should be an entertaining match between two sides who are good to watch.
Betting
Once again I’ll go with the one bet over the course of the night while we wait until the weekend or so when everyone is back from the Gold Cup and things become a little more consistent than what they are at the minute. The bet I like sees Orlando City taking on Inter Miami and while the latter had a good win at the weekend and might be finding their feet, I think they are up against it against one of the best sides in the Eastern Conference this season.
Orlando City won the reverse meeting between these two 2-1 away to Inter Miami and they rested players at the beginning of that match which bodes well for them here. That came along at the start of the Gold Cup so they were without players for that match so the absentees shouldn’t be an issue here. Orlando are very strong at home. They have only lost one of their matches at home and have found the net 16 times. Inter Miami have only won once on their travels this season which was in Cincinnati which isn’t the best form guide. I expect the hosts to win this comfortably.
