The bulk of the week 10 matches in the NFL season take place on Sunday with a number of appealing early games on what feels like another pivotal day of action in America’s biggest sporting league.
There are divisional matches and conference clashes in among some big teams being on show on what looks like a decent enough Sunday card. As ever we have two of these matches live on Sky in the UK with Redzone and other ways to keep up with the others.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)
There are three battles among divisional rivals in these opening set of matches. In the NFC North the Chicago Bears welcome the Detroit Lions to Soldier Field while over in the AFC East the New York Jets welcome the Buffalo Bills to MetLife Stadium. In the AFC South the Indianapolis Colts play host to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The TV game in these matches is actually the one between the New Orleans Saints and the Cincinnati Bengals which could see the Saints take complete control of the NFC South. Tennessee Titans welcome the New England Patriots to town while the Washington Redskins head to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cleveland Browns play host to the Atlanta Falcons and the Arizona Cardinals head to the Kansas City Chiefs in the other matches.
4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)
There are two divisional clashes in the later set of matches as well with the Seattle Seahawks playing host to the Los Angeles Rams in the pick of the matches in what is the TV game for those of us in the UK. Oakland Raiders welcome the Los Angeles Chargers to the Coliseum while the Miami Dolphins make their way to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers in the other match.

Betting
I’ll go with two bets over the course of the night with the first one being on New Orleans Saints who I think can have far too much for Cincinnati Bengals. To be fair I thought that would be the case anyway but AJ Green’s absence makes me think the Bengals are going to struggle more than I originally thought that they might. We saw last week that the Saints can take on anyone and come out on top and I see no different here. This Saints offense is too well balanced and too strong. I’ll take them to cover half a dozen points.
Later in the night the Los Angeles Chargers have the ideal chance to put another win on the board when they head to an Oakland Raiders side for whom the only competitive element left on the season is whether they can bank the number one pick in the next draft. The Chargers usually click into gear at this point in the season and I expect them to do that again here. They can cover a nine point handicap in this one.
