We have another exciting NFL Sunday to look forward to and with Thanksgiving approaching and the business end of the regular season in sight, all teams on show will be eager to enhance their position as the thought begins to turn towards the postseason.
We have the usual Sunday fayre over here in the UK with a TV match from both time slots as well as the Red Zone show to offer up all the important moments across all the matches. If that isn’t enough certain matches are available with the bookmakers.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK Time)
The Tennessee Titans have laid down their credentials for being the best team in the AFC over the last three weeks and they get the chance to do that again in the first televised match on Sunday when they welcome the New Orleans Saints to the Nissan Stadium. That is one of seven matches in the first kick off slot and of the other six there are two which see teams in the same division battling it out. The Indianapolis Colts host the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC South and over in the AFC East the New York Jets play host to a stuttering Buffalo Bills team.
That leaves four other matches in this slot of games with the Dallas Cowboys looking to bounce back from their defeat last week when they host the Atlanta Falcons, while the New England Patriots take on a much happier looking Cleveland Browns. The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger when they host the Detroit Lions while the Washington Football Team host the champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the other game.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK Time)
Two quarterbacks who are never far from the spotlight meet in the second of the two TV matches for us in the UK when Aaron Rodgers returns from his high profile Covid-19 absence to lead the Green Bay Packers into battle against the Seattle Seahawks who will have Russell Wilson pulling the trigger for them. Both men might think they have a bit to prove so this should be a cracking clash to entertain us.
Three other matches find their way to this kick off slot with the Arizona Cardinals looking to continue their fine season when they play host to the Carolina Panthers who will be buzzing with Cam Newton back in the door. The Los Angeles Chargers are also in action on Sunday night. They go up against the Minnesota Vikings while the Denver Broncos will look to build on their outstanding win over the Dallas Cowboys last week when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
Betting
We were reminded last weekend just how volatile this league can be at the best of times and there are another set of favourites who are being asked to cover big spreads this week. The one thing you would say is a couple of those in receipt of a big line were surprise winners last week so the teams getting complacent against them potential has disappeared. That would make me surprised if we see a repeat of last weekend but at the same time I’m happy to let any teams who are good enough to win to do so.
My bet over the course of the evening comes in the big match on TV in the second slot of games where I am expecting to see some points between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks, both of whom have quarterbacks who might be looking to put on a show to prove themselves. Rodgers has been excellent all season and should be able to pick this Seattle defence apart but while Green Bay haven’t given up many passing yards this season, they haven’t been up against the threat the Seahawks passing game with Wilson back at quarterback possesses. It won’t take a whole lot for these two elite quarterbacks to turn this into a shootout so I like over 48.5pts in this one.
