Another Sunday has come around which means we have another full day of NFL action to enjoy beginning with the early games as the majority of the Week 3 games take place up and down the United States.
It is a typical Sunday for us in the UK with two live matches to enjoy in full on the TV or the option of the Red Zone coverage to keep up with all the games in play. All the matches can be viewed with certain bookmakers too.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)
The televised option for us in the UK in this first kick off slot comes from the AFC East where the two leading sides who go into the week 2-0 for the season meet as the Miami Dolphins welcome the Buffalo Bills for a heavyweight showdown. There are three other divisional battles in the first kick off zone with the Carolina Panthers hosting the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South, Minnesota Vikings welcome the Detroit Lions in the NFC North and the Washington Commanders face Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East.
Five other matches take place in the early kick off slot and the pick of those is probably the one at Gillette Stadium where the New England Patriots host a Baltimore Ravens who will be looking to bounce back from that incredible loss to the Miami Dolphins last week. Chicago Bears will be out to rebound from a mauling by the Green Bay Packers when they host the Houston Texans while the Kansas City Chiefs are on the road at the Indianapolis Colts. The New York Jets had a good win last week and they host the Cincinnati Bengals and Las Vegas Raiders go in search of a first win on the season when they travel to the Tennessee Titans.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25 pm UK time)
Two future hall of fame quarterbacks will entertain us in the second TV match on Sunday when Tom Brady goes up against Aaron Rodgers as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Green Bay Packers in a match which might be a relevant one in the NFC much later in the year too. That is one of just four matches in the later slot but there is still another divisional clash which comes from the Super Bowl home for this year as the Arizona Cardinals host the champions Los Angeles Rams.
The other two matches should be entertaining but they are significant in their own right. The Los Angeles Chargers are sweating on the fitness of their quarterback Justin Herbert ahead of their match against the Jacksonville Jaguars while in the other match the Seattle Seahawks will look to put their loss to the San Francisco 49ers last week behind them when they welcome the Atlanta Falcons to what is sure to be a vibrant Lumen Field.
Betting
We often get overreactions in the odds and the lines at this stage of the season and I think we’ve got one at Gillette Stadium where the Baltimore Ravens are only having to give up 2.5 points against the New England Patriots. To be fair to the Patriots their defence has only given up two touchdowns in two matches but the Dolphins offense was finding their feet in the opening game and nothing in Pittsburgh was going to scare them. I expect the Pats D to be tested a lot more in this one.
I guess the overreaction is coming because of what happened to the Baltimore Ravens last week but for three and a bit quarters they were playing an excellent game. They then got gashed by a whippet who put the wind up them and had them cowering for cover to allow them to be exposed by Jaylen Waddle but I’m not going to hold that against them and I certainly don’t think Mac Jones has those sort of tools at his disposal here. The Baltimore defence is tough to run against and I think they’ll be more switched on in the back field here and with Lamar Jackson able to make plays with his legs to keep the Patriots defence honest before he unleashes the passing game on them I expect the Ravens to put last week behind them and win here.
