NFL 2022 – Week 7 Sunday Early Games Tips and Betting Preview

The NFL 2022 season continues on Sunday evening when the regular set of matches take place across the two Conferences as sides in action get the chance to manoeuvre themselves into a better position in their respective divisions.

This is a typical Sunday in the NFL where we have two matches to enjoy throughout the course of the two slots and then there is the Red Zone coverage for those who want the scoring plays in all the games. Bookmakers stream certain games too.

1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)

The televised game in the opening set of matches on Sunday comes from the AFC North where the Baltimore Ravens play host to division rivals Cleveland Browns with top spot in the division potentially on the line in that game. Among the other matches in this kick off slot there are two other divisional clashes. In the NFC South the Carolina Panthers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while in the AFC South the Tennessee Titans welcome the Indianapolis Colts.

Just four other matches take place at this time with all eyes potentially being in the capital where the Washington Capitals play host to a Green Bay Packers side who have stumbled too often for their liking this season. Elsewhere, two 3-3 sides meet when the Cincinnati Bengals host the Atlanta Falcons while the Dallas Cowboys will look to keep up with the pace in the NFC East when they host the Detroit Lions and the New York Giants will attempt to move to 6-1 for the season when they travel to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)

Four matches take place in the later slot of games with the televised action coming from the scene of the Super Bowl from last season when the Los Angeles Chargers welcome the Seattle Seahawks to SoFi Stadium. That is in the later start with the other one looking like a belting match as the leaders of the NFC West, San Francisco 49ers, take on the AFC West leaders Kansas City Chiefs in what could very well be the Super Bowl this season.

Two struggling sides in the AFC West both have home matches in the slightly earlier games to kick off with the Denver Broncos having to deal without starting quarterback Russell Wilson when they play host to a New York Jets who have gone almost unnoticed to a 4-2 record this term. Las Vegas Raiders are off the back of a bye this week when they welcome the Houston Texans to that part of Nevada.

Betting

I’ll go with one bet over the course of the night and it comes in that second TV game where the Los Angeles Chargers play host to the Seattle Seahawks in what I think will be a fairly high scoring match. I say that because the Chargers defence is bashed up still but they should still have enough in their ranks to contribute strongly to the scoreboard. Seattle have two major offensive weapons to utilise when they are behind so this feels like a fit for a high scoring match.

The Chargers were involved in a relatively low scoring match on Monday night but a lot of that was down to the quality of the Denver defence and the lack of potency in their offense. Prior to that though the Chargers matches had been high scoring and you can say similar about the Seahawks if you excuse their low scoring encounter with Arizona last week. These offenses can pile up the points and the defences can ship them so I like over 50.5 points in this one.
