There is still so much to play for in the Premier League and we get another chapter in the exciting stories on Wednesday evening when four rearranged fixtures take place up and down the country with impacts expected at the top and the bottom of the table.
We have one of the four matches live on the TV in the UK to enjoy and you would imagine that the other three will come with regular updates throughout the coverage given that two of them in particular will be important to the league table.
Wednesday’s fixtures are as follows: (8pm unless stated; UK TV in brackets)
Wolverhampton Wanderers v AFC Bournemouth (7.45pm)
Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United
Everton vs Liverpool (Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)

Preview
The TV cameras will be at Goodison Park on Wednesday evening where the Merseyside derby will take place with both Everton and Liverpool keen for points. Everton will be looking to come further clear of the bottom three while Liverpool are looking to keep up the heat on Manchester City and Arsenal in the race for the title. Newcastle United are the next highest team on show and they will look to continue their push for European football next season when they make the trip to the capital to take on Crystal Palace who have suddenly found some form.
Newcastle are looking to keep Manchester United at bay in that race for Europe but the Red Devils are in action at the same time. The FA Cup finalists play host to rock bottom Sheffield United who need results soon else their relegation could be confirmed as early as the weekend. The other match is a mid-table clash as Gary O’Neil leads his Wolverhampton Wanderers side into battle with his former club AFC Bournemouth.
Betting
I’ll go with a couple of bets over the course of the evening and they both involve goals. We begin at Molineux where surely Gary O’Neil will have his side up for beating AFC Bournemouth given the way he was ousted out at the Vitality Stadium. Wolverhampton Wanderers are generally an attractive side to watch this season and this Bournemouth defence shouldn’t hold any fears to them but the home side are missing Craig Dawson who is a key organiser of their own defence and that leads me to think that the goals are going to flow here. You can get a 2.75 goal line in this one and that looks low. Six of the last seven Bournemouth matches have had three or more goals while Wolves games this season average exactly three goals. With no competitive pressure I see this being a high scoring clash.
The other match I see being high scoring is the one at Selhurst Park where Crystal Palace host Newcastle United. Newcastle games have been pretty wild this season and average 3.78 goals per game which elevates slightly to 3.87 per game on their travels. We have a three goal line for this match so automatically I’m keen on the over but when you add in Palace who since Oliver Glasner has taken over have been much more free scoring I think we have two ideal dance partners here. Palace’s last two home games have contained 13 goals and with them having their gun two players Ebere Eze and Michael Olise fit and firing that is a trend I don’t expect to see ending here. The over looks a great thing here.
