Premier League – Sunday 30th October Matches Betting Preview

There are two more Premier League matches on Sunday with four sides all eyeing up big seasons doing battle on what has the makings of a good day of football in the top flight. As ever both are in the Super Sunday double header for us all to enjoy.

Everton vs West Ham

The opening match of the day comes from Goodison Park where a stuttering Everton host a West Ham side who are on the up all of a sudden and it will be interesting to see if that dynamic can continue or whether the tides will turn.

Everton had a wretched home record last season but they are unbeaten at home under Ronald Koeman which gives them something to build on and while they are four matches without a win they have dominated Burnley and held Man City in their last two matches so it might be that their results haven’t mirrored their performances.

West Ham had a horrible start to the season. They were always going to come good with the creativity and attacking class they have in their side. All they needed to do was find themselves again defensively and they seem to have done that now so I’m expecting the Hammers to rise up the table from here.

I think this will be a good match to start the day off. West Ham look a shade of value but not quite enough after their emotional highs in midweek when they played a pretty strong side. Instead I think the best bet is on both teams to score. West Ham have genuine defence opening potential in their ranks while Everton are often on the front foot so I expect both to score in an entertaining game.

Southampton vs Chelsea

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea side face a good test in the second match of the day as Southampton welcome them to St Mary’s Stadium. Southampton head into the game in excellent form having held Man City last weekend to extend their unbeaten league run to five matches. They also made it through in the EFL Cup in midweek too.

Chelsea have won their last three matches in the Premier League and have won them emphatically and without conceding so the Blues have certainly hit some form right now. Chelsea will be confident of winning the match but Southampton’s record has to be respected so I’ll sit this one out.
