The Royal London One Day Cup continues on Sunday when we have a full round of matches up and down the country as we meander towards the halfway mark of the first phase of the domestic 50 over competition.
Once again it is The Hundred which is taking up the TV coverage so if you have a bet and want to watch its progress you will need to head to the perfectly acceptable live streams that the home county offers.
Group A
Nottinghamshire are the early pacesetters in Group A but they are the team who aren’t in action on Sunday which means that Leicestershire will have the chance to skip clear at the top of the table. They head to Hove to take on a Sussex side who will move level on points with them should they win the match. The two teams in third and fourth meet at Guildford when Surrey will be looking to overtake Warwickshire while for the likes of Durham and Middlesex they need their first points of the season when they meet at Chester-le-Street and the same thing applies for Gloucestershire and Somerset in their clash at Bristol.

Group B
Glamorgan are the leaders in Group B but they are not in action on Sunday either which gives the rest the chance to close the gap at the top. Lancashire are their closest challengers and they welcome a Derbyshire side who got off the mark on Friday night to Old Trafford. Hampshire won the only match they have played in the tournament so far and they head to Beckenham to take on fourth placed Kent. Yorkshire have a win on the board already and they will look to double their tally when they host Worcestershire at Scarborough. Northamptonshire host Essex in the other match.
Betting
I’m a little surprised that after two convincing wins that Leicestershire are the outsiders to win at Sussex, a team who are missing a number of star players either because of international duty, The Hundred duty or injury. To be fair to Sussex, they had a good win over Gloucestershire on Friday but Gloucestershire are decimated by players to The Hundred and aren’t enjoying a particularly good season so I need to see more from the Sharks before I’m convinced by them.
I thought at the beginning of this tournament that Leicestershire might have a point to prove after the way their Vitality Blast campaign ended and they have certainly started out with fuel in their fire. I sensed Leicestershire might go well in this tournament because they are one of very few teams to have both overseas players available and although Rehan Ahmed, Colin Ackermann and Callum Parkinson are big losses to The Hundred, they haven’t missed them so far and I think the Foxes are value to pick up another win here.
