The last day of action in the Sky Bet Championship prior to the first international break of the season takes place on Saturday on a rare day where all 24 sides in the division are on show across what should be a decent day of football.
Usually on a Saturday we have one live game to enjoy but this time around we have two matches live on the TV to watch and get stuck into. Everyone will know the ways of staying up to date with the other games by now.

Big Matches
The televised action begins in Wales on Saturday when what you would imagine is an under pressure Russell Martin leads his Swansea City side into action when they meet a Hull City, who after a bright start to the season are beginning to revert to the mean. We then have to wait right until the end of the day for the second one to come along when another under pressure manager, this time Chris Wilder, takes his Middlesbrough side into battle against Rotherham United. The other two standout fixtures see the leaders Sheffield United heading away to Preston North End while Steve Bruce takes his West Brom side to Carrow Road to face Norwich City.
Best of the Rest
Blackburn Rovers will go into the day in third place in the table and they make the long trip south to Kenilworth Road to take on a Luton Town side who will be eager for a first home win of the season. Reading start the day in fourth and they head to a Wigan Athletic side who have gone well so far this term while Burnley and Sunderland, the other two sides in the top six, host Bristol City and travel to Watford respectively. At the other end of the table Coventry City look to come off the bottom of the table when they chase a first win of the season when they go to Birmingham City. Huddersfield Town are second bottom and they host Cardiff City in their first match without head coach Danny Schofield.
Betting
I mentioned in midweek that I was impressed with Wigan Athletic when I saw them live a couple of weeks ago and there was nothing in their win at Huddersfield which swayed me from that opinion. I also mentioned that Reading were a good side at home but really struggle on their travels. Reading didn’t live up to their home billing in midweek but I fancy we will see no change to their away form when they head to the DW Stadium.
Reading won at Millwall a few weeks ago but in the other three away games they have played they have lost all three and conceded nine goals in the process. They have just lost pretty heavily to Sunderland and crucially that match was on Wednesday night whereas Wigan won at Huddersfield on Tuesday night so they have had longer to recover and prepare for this one. You only had to see the level of player who came off the bench for the Latics at the John Smith’s Stadium on Tuesday night to see the depth of squad Wigan have and that can all be put to good use to come away from this one with a win.
