Sky Bet Championship 2023-24 – Sunday 10th March Matches Tips, TV and Betting Preview

The Sky Bet Championship weekend concludes on Sunday afternoon when the final two matches take place across what is a very intriguing division with three battles going on down the home straight of the campaign.

One of the two matches is live on the TV for us to enjoy on Sunday afternoon and hopefully the TV coverage will provide regular updates on the other one so that anyone who has a bet can keep fully up to date with what is happening.

Huddersfield Town vs West Bromwich Albion (12.00 – Sky Football)

The TV cameras head back to the John Smith’s Stadium as Huddersfield Town welcome another promotion chaser eight days after they hosted Leeds United at this venue. This time West Bromwich Albion are the visitors to Yorkshire, with the baggies looking to enhance their top six chances.

The Terriers are battling hard to avoid the drop but slipped back into the bottom three on Saturday so they will be looking for the win which will get them out of the danger zone. They are closing in behind West Brom in the chase for the play-off spots so the Baggies could do with picking up a result in this match themselves so we should be in for a competitive TV game. West Brom don’t always convince me on their travels but Huddersfield might just be adjusting to life under their new manager still and as such nothing really stands out to me in this game. If I had to pull the trigger I would go with West Brom but I wouldn’t be certain so I’m happy to sit this one out.

Bristol City vs Swansea City (12.30)

The other match on Sunday afternoon comes from Ashton Gate where rival sides meet when Bristol City welcome Swansea City in what is always a competitive match anyway but might be even more so here with teams looking to present themselves under relatively new managers.

Bristol City will be looking to bounce back from that agonising defeat to Ipswich Town in midweek while Swansea come in here off the back of a draw at Watford where they could have been out of sight in the opening period had they been a little more clinical. Swansea are definitely showing signs of improvement under Luke Williams though and it will be interesting to see whether Bristol City can handle that positivity in the visitors. I think this is a derby which might be quite open because both coaches like to have the ball and win it back high and generally when two sides like that meet we get both teams scoring and the 4/5 on both teams to score here looks a perfectly acceptable price to me.
