The traditional Boxing Day fixture list in the Premier League sees eight fixtures taking place up and down the country as the second half of the campaign begins in style. Over the course of the day a number of the top four are in action while the majority of the teams at the bottom are also on show too.
Early Kick Off
The action begins at Wembley Stadium where Tottenham will look to get back into the top four for a few hours when they host a Southampton side who are edging dangerously too close to the bottom three for their liking so who would like the points to pull away from trouble.
3pm Matches
Two sides right in the relegation mix take each other on at the Vitality Stadium as Bournemouth host West Ham while the champions Chelsea will look to close the gap on the leaders when they host Brighton at Stamford Bridge. Huddersfield take on Stoke while Burnley make the short trip to Old Trafford to play Man Utd. The other two matches in this time see Watford hosting Leicester and West Brom taking on Everton.
Late Game
All eyes will be on Anfield in the later match to see if Liverpool can pick up an elusive home win. They take on a Swansea side who will be looking to build a platform for whoever takes over from Paul Clement to build on. Swansea won this fixture 3-2 last season and with the position they are in they could do with a repeat of that result.

Betting
It is a busy day on Tuesday but with the Christmas festivities I’ve not had as long to look at these matches as I would have liked so I’m going with just the one bet which is on over 2.5 goals in the Watford vs Leicester match.
Watford are in a horrible mess in terms of form at the minute and I don’t see them being the sort of side to shut up shop and eek out of a win whereas Leicester are going really nicely and Watford should play into their hands nicely and allow them to counter attack. Both sides will be able to play their natural style which often assists an over 2.5 bet so that is my only offering here.
