The final day of action in the Premier League prior to the international break is a busy one as four more matches take place on Sunday including two of the matches of the season. Near enough every side in the title race this season features across the card on Sunday so we are set for a very exciting afternoon of football.

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace
It all begins at Wembley Stadium where Tottenham Hotspur take on London rivals Crystal Palace in a big match for both sides. Spurs need to win to keep pace with those above them in the table while Palace are desperate for points to claw back the teams above them.
I guess most teams would expect Tottenham to win this match but there is a trappy element to it. I say that because they had such an emotional high on Wednesday night that it might be hard to get up for a game against the basement side in the Premier League. I don’t expect Palace to be too much of an attacking force in this match but they can contain Tottenham if they are not at it. With that in mind I’ll sit this one out.
Man City vs Arsenal
The most appealing match of the day is the second match between Manchester City and Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium as the leaders take on a side who want to be their title rivals but who may fall well short of that mark.
Manchester City are free scoring and look an unstoppable juggernaut at the minute and I’m not convinced Arsenal are the team to change that. I guess they will try but I don’t think they have the discipline, the skill or the speed to do it so I’m expecting them to look to impose themselves on the game with their own attacking players.
That all suggests to me that we are going to see goals in this match and even if Arsenal don’t score I still think over 3.5 goals has got every chance of landing the way City are playing.
Chelsea vs Man Utd
As ever with these big matches the attention ahead of the game has been about the managers rather than the two teams and that makes predicting the tactical battle tricky.
We’ve seen before that Jose Mourinho can spoil these sorts of encounters but maybe the 4-0 beating his side took at Stamford Bridge last season could see him want revenge and will see them more expansive. I won’t hold my breath though. Chelsea aren’t the easiest to predict these days either so this is a match to leave alone.
Everton vs Watford
The one match not live on TV in the UK on Sunday is the clash at Goodison Park between a struggling Everton side and a Watford team who have begun the season strongly but who will be looking to bounce back from defeat last weekend.
Everton are hard to bet on right now but I keep on thinking that at some point they are going to come good. Watford have goals in them on the road but they ship plenty too. If there is a winner I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it is them but I’ve had a good weekend so I’ll stick with just the one bet on Sunday.
