2017 China Championship Snooker Qualifying – Day 3 Betting Preview

The China Championship qualifying continues on Monday as plenty more players aim to book their spot at the second ranking event of the season and there are some very big names in action at the Guild Hall in Preston too.

The likes of Marco Fu, Judd Trump and Joe Perry are all playing their qualifying match on Monday and all will be live streamed so we will get to see them on the various streaming consoles.

Morning Session

We have four matches in the morning session on Monday. Two of them are on the streamed tables with Alfie Burden playing Paul Davison on one of them and Jamie Jones meeting Elliot Slessor on the other. Elsewhere Alan McManus meets Hammad Miah and Sam Baird faces Josh Boileau.

Afternoon Session

Robert Milkins will be on one of the streamed tables in the afternoon when he goes up against the talented Chinese player Zhao Xintong while Joe Perry faces Eden Sharav in front of the cameras on the other.

There are three other matches in this session with David Gilbert taking on Mitchell Mann, Stuart Carrington facing Scott Donaldson and Jack Lisowski going up against q-school qualifier Allan Taylor.

Evening Session

Four matches are on the schedule in the evening and the big names are out to play too. Judd Trump is on one of the TV tables as he faces the Chinese player Xu Si with Marco Fu and Sanderson Lam doing battle on the other one. The other two matches see Jimmy Robertson playing David John and Luca Brecel taking on Sean O’Sullivan.

Betting

I like a couple of bets in the afternoon session on Monday. On the streamed table Robert Milkins looks overpriced to see off Zhao Xintong. Xintong is a real star of the future but Milkins has been around the block and knows how to see off these young guns. He won his Riga Masters qualifier so should go into this match in decent form and I’m backing experience to come through there.

Another man who won his Riga Masters qualifier was Stuart Carrington and he played some decent snooker to do it and he takes on a man in Scott Donaldson who was surprisingly given a good beating last week. Carrington showed what he is all about by making it to the Crucible a couple of months ago and beat Mark Williams to get there. He has started this season well too and I fancy he could also be overpriced.

Tips

WON – Back R.Milkins to beat Z.Xintong for a 4/10 stake at 1.95 with Coral
