It is the final day of the European Darts Grand Prix in Germany on Sunday with the last 16, quarter finals, semi-finals and the final all played out on what is always a busy conclusion to a European Tour event.
We have the last 16 in the afternoon and while as ever time restrictions will deny us the chance of previewing the remainder of the tournament we do have two outrights through to Sunday so hopefully one of those can keep us going.
First Four Matches
We get the action on Sunday underway with what is likely to be a sedate pace when Mensur Suljovic takes on Joe Cullen. Mark Webster is then next up when he faces Jelle Klaasen in a battle of Lakeside champions. They are followed by Kim Huybrechts and Jan Dekker before one of the clashes of the round when Peter Wright faces Daryl Gurney.
Later Four Matches
Two qualifiers meet in the first game after the interval when Rob Cross goes up against Steve West. The tie of the round comes after them when Dave Chisnall takes on Adrian Lewis. Benito van de Pas and Gerwyn Price play in the penultimate match before Michael van Gerwen closes off the afternoon by taking on Ulf Ceder.

Betting
I’m going with two bets in this afternoon session. Steve West did me a good turn on Saturday and I’m going with him again here. He takes on a Rob Cross who is a danger without a doubt. He won a floor event earlier in the season but West was a semi-finalist in one last week and has played well this weekend and I fancy him to give a good account of himself again here. Cross will be a top player but he is slightly inexperienced on the stage and at this level of stage events so I’m with West here.
Dave Chisnall has a pretty decent record over Adrian Lewis and after averaging more than 110 in coming through on Saturday there is no doubt that the Chizzy Rascal is in tip top form heading into Sunday. We’ve seen in the Premier League that Lewis isn’t quite bang on it at the minute and so Chisnall looks set to continue that hold he has over Jackpot.
Tips
Back S.West to beat R.Cross for a 4/10 stake at 2.05 with NetBet
WON – Back D.Chisnall to beat A.Lewis for a 4/10 stake at 1.83 with Betfair
