The German Darts Masters draws to a conclusion on Monday when the tournament is played out to a finish from the last 16 stage in the afternoon to the final in the evening. The big names are all still in the tournament so it promises to be an exciting conclusion to the event.
We still have one outright bet running in the tournament in the form of James Wade and we’re hoping he can come through and do the business for us. As ever time restrictions mean that we won’t have time to preview the evening matches but we can do the afternoon ones.
Early Matches
Mensur Suljovic gets the action underway on Monday afternoon when he takes on Kyle Anderson. An all-Dutch battle follows that when Jeffrey de Graaf takes on Jelle Klaasen before Wade takes to the stage again. He takes on Gerwyn Price and then Peter Wright concludes the first half of the afternoon when he plays Stephen Bunting.
Later Matches
The second half of the set of matches begins with Simon Whitlock taking on the surprise package of the event in Steffen Siepmann. Rowby-John Rodriguez then meets Michael Smith before the tie of the last 16 which sees Raymond Barneveld facing Kim Huybrechts. The afternoon session ends with Michael van Gerwen taking on Cristo Reyes.

Betting
I only like one bet in these matches in the afternoon and it comes on Kyle Anderson who has impressed so far this weekend. He has his work cut out against Mensur Suljovic but when you look at their head to head maybe he doesn’t have it as tough as we might think.
I say that because these two have met four times in the past, all last year so while Suljovic was in good touch rather than when he was going up the rankings, and Anderson has won all four so there is something he likes about facing the Austrian.
Given that Suljovic had to battle past Jamie Lewis in the previous round whereas Kyle Anderson was far too good for Steve West I think the Australian is somewhat overpriced at 15/8 and is worth a punt.
