There is another busy Friday night scheduled in the NatWest T20 Blast as we head into the second half of the competition in both groups. Now is the time for counties to find form and with both tables being watertight whoever does that should fly up the table.
In total there are seven fixtures on the card and despite a Test match being on we do have a TV match which is down at Hove where Sussex take on Middlesex.
North Group
There are four matches in the North Group on Friday night with Worcestershire the one side not in action. There is an attractive looking clash at Old Trafford where Lancashire take on Nottinghamshire while the leaders Yorkshire head to Edgbaston to face Birmingham Bears. Derbyshire welcome the champions Northants while Durham go to Grace Road to play Leicestershire.
South Group
As well as the TV match from Hove, Gloucestershire host Hampshire in a huge match for both sides in Bristol while the game of the night sees the top two in the group collide in Cardiff where Glamorgan host a star studded Surrey side.

Betting
This looked an attractive card a few days ago but sadly there is a horrible band of rain sweeping across the country in the late afternoon going into the evening on Friday and if the forecast is to be believed then play is going to be minimal and results will be hard to come by.
With that in mind I see no point wasting time working out bets that are unlikely to reach a resolution and those that do will become a lottery with the conditions so I’ll sit this card out and hope the weather improves quickly.
