There are four NatWest T20 Blast matches on Tuesday evening with three in the North Group and one in the South as sides begin to make it to the halfway stage of the opening phase of the competition.
We have a TV match which is the South Group clash with the usual ways and means of keeping up to date in the other matches. We’ll kick things off with the TV match.

Gloucestershire vs Glamorgan
Two sides who will be glad the weather looks to be taking a turn for the better meet in front of the cameras when Gloucestershire take on Glamorgan at Bristol. Glamorgan have been washed out in their last two matches while Gloucestershire’s last one also fell victim to the rain.
I like Glamorgan in this match. I have liked them all tournament but now that David Miller has had time to settle I fancy they will be very good over the next few weeks. Gloucestershire look to be struggling with the bat and a tired square may not help matters for them. Glamorgan have shown no sign of weakness so far so I like them.
I also like them to hit the most sixes in the match. Gloucestershire are yet to hit more than four sixes in a match and they have played their home matches at Cheltenham so far. Glamorgan have been to Sussex and Essex and hit double figures and they’ve hit four against a good Hampshire attack and five in 17 overs against Somerset. The Welsh side have added David Miller to their ranks too so their six hitting should continue enough to hit the most here.
Durham vs Nottinghamshire
Durham have shown few signs of being competent in this tournament so far whereas their opponents Nottinghamshire have hit a rich vein of form which explains why the visitors are emphatic favourites for the match.
I don’t bet at short prices in this format so I am not going to take Nottinghamshire to win. I’m tempted to back them to clear 50 in the powerplay but Rushworth is capable of bowling a couple of tight overs in there which dents my enthusiasm so I’ll just sit this match out.
Leicestershire vs Birmingham Bears
These two sides meet for the second time this season. Leicestershire have already been to Edgbaston and seen off the Birmingham Bears but it is the visitors who are the favourites to win this one.
Birmingham blasted Derbyshire out of the game on Sunday but after posting 197 they still only won by 20 which might be a concern. They will do well to clobber this Leicestershire attack for that many.
The key in this match will be how Leicestershire go with the bat. They chased down 174 in their opening match but haven’t made 160 since then. Birmingham struggled early on because their top two did all the scoring but in recent matches Colin de Grandhomme, William Porterfield and Grant Elliott have found some runs.
I like Birmingham’s attack. They have the attack for all conditions and a nice mixture of pace on and pace off, off spin and leg spin and that variety and improved batting can see them home here.
Derbyshire vs Lancashire
Two sides with their eyes on securing a place in the quarter finals meet at Derby as Derbyshire host Lancashire in a North Group battle. Lancashire have already beaten Derbyshire this season and will be looking for a double over them.
I would probably go with Lancashire in this match but they are fairly short. We’ve seen Derbyshire be dangerous with the bat in the competition already so Lancashire are nothing like certainties which means I’ll sit this one out.
