The NFL is back in London on Sunday when the Miami Dolphins host the New Orleans Saints at Wembley Stadium with the sold out crowd going to the home of England football hoping for a more competitive contest than those at Wembley last weekend were treated to.
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins began their season a week late after the atrocities of the hurricane season and they head to London with a 1-1 record. They won their first match against the Los Angeles Chargers but then they will have been disappointed to slip up against the New York Jets last week in a match they were expected to win.
They couldn’t get anything going on offense in the Jets game last week which will be a concern but they face a weaker defence in this match albeit they will be up against a much more powerful offense. Jay Ajayi returns home and will be out to make a big impression in front of the London fans so expect him to see plenty of the ball.
New Orleans Saints
After back-to-back defeats to open up their campaign the New Orleans Saints finally picked up their first win against the Carolina Panthers last weekend and they will hope that will be the platform for a big run of form. Importantly they headed for London immediately and have been in the capital for a week unlike the Baltimore Ravens who were a shambles last week.
As ever the Saints are wholly reliant on Drew Brees to lead them around the field although they have built a decent army of running backs to keep them in control when they get ahead in matches. You would imagine the outcome of their season is going to be determined by how they defend and if they can do it consistently.

Betting
Miami Dolphins are the outsiders for this match and based on last week that is fair but I think they might be better balanced on both sides of the ball so I’m tempted to back them for the game but I think a better bet comes in the form of a player market.
That is the rushing yards of Jay Ajayi. The Saints have been unable to stop the run for quite some time now and with Miami having a better passing offence here New Orleans can’t just gang up on the run with the aim of stopping that. Ajayi was injured last week but he has taken part in full practice this week and with the amount of carries I anticipate him getting I expect him to cover more than 83.5 yards on the ground.
Tips
Back J.Ajayi – Over 83.5 rushing yards for a 4/10 stake at 1.83 with Paddy Power
