The first round of matches in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge concludes with the first double header of the tournament on Sunday when the four sides yet to open their campaigns do so at the wonderful Supersport Park in Centurion.
The four sides doing battle across a bumper day on Sunday are the Cape Cobras, Titans, Highveld Lions and the Dolphins which means we have stars such as AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, Imran Tahir and Vernon Philander among many other big names on show.

Cape Cobras vs Dolphins
The first match of the day sees the Cape Cobras taking on Dolphins in what is the starter before the main course. This means we get to see players like Hashim Amla, JP Duminy, Vernon Philander, Morne van Wyk and Keshav Maharaj in action.
Both these sides will fancy their chances in the tournament this year and if they are to go well they could do with opening up with a win so this should be a competitive encounter. You would imagine the Cape Cobras will win this match but we’re a little early in the piece to be sure.
I like the boundaries here. You always get a decent batting wicket at Centurion and the boundaries are both short and accessible either via the altitude in the air or the lightning fast outfield. There are some big batsmen on show in this match so 37.5 boundaries looks very achievable.
Titans vs Highveld Lions
The second match of the afternoon looks a real heavyweight contest as the defending champions Titans take on their local rivals Highveld Lions in a match which sees South African internationals playing everywhere you look.
The Titans have the strongest squad in this tournament by far on paper and they will be hoping to show that in reality in this match but the Highveld Lions lay down for nobody and will give it a good go that much is for sure.
With the talent that is on show here I am expecting the big hits to flow and to flow regularly. The likes of AB de Villiers, Aiden Markram, Quinton de Kock, Chris Morris and Farhaan Behardien can all smack a long ball and there are plenty of players for the Lions who can clear the ropes. 13.5 is the sixes line but on a small Centurion ground it might not be high enough.
