The Ram Slam T20 Challenge continues on Wednesday with another pair of matches in the tournament as the second half of the league phase of the event gets underway. We have runaway leaders in the Titans at the halfway stage and they are in action on Wednesday which adds to the profile of the day.
The Titans’ match away to the Highveld Lions is the game on TV on Wednesday while the Cape Cobras will take on the Warriors away from the cameras. The alternative methods will need to be used to keep up to date with that game. We’ll begin with the live game.

Highveld Lions vs Titans
The runaway leaders Titans can near enough seal their place in the play-offs should they win this match and pick up the bonus point but the Lions have the opportunity to move into second place in the table should they pull off what must be considered an upset victory.
Matches in Johannesburg are hard to bet on in terms of the match outcome because the ground is so tough to defend but even the side markets can’t really be attacked here as the forecast for the match is terrible and even if the rain relents it doesn’t look like we will get a full game in. Given that, this is a no bet game.
Cape Cobras vs Warriors
The bottom two in the table meet at Paarl when the Cape Cobras host the Warriors in a match both sides will be eager to win to give their chances of making the play-offs the necessary boost.
Both sides pulled off wonderful run chases on Sunday but this could be a different contest. Chasing at Paarl is never an easy thing to do and you would expect this one would be a low scoring match as a result.
The toss will be a big thing in this match because whoever bats first is likely to have an advantage. In an even match with the toss not being such a thing then I would go with the Cape Cobras but the toss differential is a big thing and with that in mind I’ll keep my powder dry and await the fixtures to come this week.
