2018-19 Premier League – Sunday 4th November Matches Betting Preview

There are two more matches in the Premier League on Sunday although only one of them is on our TV screens in the UK. Despite that two sides have the chance to move to the top of the table so this could be a big Sunday in the division.

Manchester City will reclaim top spot if they can win their match but were they to slip up then Chelsea will move to the summit should they come out on top in the TV game so it promises to be an intriguing afternoon.

Man City vs Southampton (3pm)

The champions Manchester City are in action away from the spotlight this week with the match being rearranged after they were in Carabao Cup duty on Thursday evening. They host a Southampton side for whom this match comes at the wrong time.

The Saints will just start to look over their shoulder and Newcastle’s win on Saturday will have done nothing to relax them but there are few bigger tests in football right now than this so to say they are up against it would be underestimating it massively. Manchester City are in sublime form. They are unbeaten and have only conceded three goals all season.

Southampton have only found the net six times in 10 matches and two of those came against Brighton earlier in the campaign. They are very poor in front of goal and with the limited amounts of the ball they are going to see here it is hard to see them scoring in this one. City to win to nil looks the obvious play.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace (4pm)

The match which is on our TV screens on Sunday afternoon is the London derby as Chelsea entertain Crystal Palace in a match which both sides will be looking to come out on top in for different reasons.

Chelsea could claim top spot with a win while Palace will ease away from danger if they can come out on top. I don’t think Palace will go down or anything like that but a win will stop people talking about it. It will give them the boost they need to take into more tough matches to come as well. I fancy this could develop into a high scoring match but the goal lines reflect that so this feels like a match that is best left alone.
