Although the international break has taken out the matches in the top two divisions there are 11 fixtures in Sky Bet League 1 on Saturday as the division returns from the FA Cup break with a bang.
The first game of the day is live on TV for followers of this division to watch while the remainder are all available for £10 on the live streaming facility of each club’s website so there are plenty of ways of watching the action.
Saturday’s fixtures are as follows: (3pm unless stated)
Fleetwood Town v Walsall (12.00)
Accrington Stanley v Barnsley
Bristol Rovers v Scunthorpe United
Burton Albion v Coventry City
Doncaster Rovers v AFC Wimbledon
Luton Town v Plymouth Argyle
Oxford United v Gillingham
Peterborough United v Bradford City
Shrewsbury Town v Rochdale
Southend United v Blackpool
Sunderland v Wycombe Wanderers
Big Matches
That TV offering comes from Highbury Stadium as Fleetwood Town play host to Walsall with both sides needing a win after going through not the best run in the world. With leaders Portsmouth not in action this weekend, Sunderland have the chance to hit top spot when they play host to Wycombe Wanderers while another high profile match comes from the Wham Stadium as Accrington Stanley play host to Barnsley, who are taking plenty across the Pennines with them.
Best of the Rest
Peterborough look to have the ideal chance to get their home form back on track on Saturday when they play host to Bradford City while Luton in fifth will look to take advantage of any slip ups above them when they welcome Plymouth Argyle to a sold out Kenilworth Road. The two sides immediately above the relegation zone meet when Bristol Rovers take on Scunthorpe United while AFC Wimbledon begin life without Neil Ardley when they make the trip to Doncaster Rovers.

Betting
This doesn’t look the easiest card to get stuck into in fairness and so I’m only going to go with the one bet in the matches. That comes from the Pirelli Stadium where the Carabao Cup quarter finalists Burton Albion host Coventry City.
Both sides suffered disappointments in the FA Cup last week but I fancy Coventry to bounce back here and see off Burton. Burton have a whole host of injuries mounting up so they could have done without the international call up of Liam Boyce. He is the only player in their squad who has more than three goals on the season which isn’t ideal for the Brewers. Coventry have been flying in the league in recent times and generally perform well on the road and have won their last three away from the Ricoh. They have a much closer to full strength squad to choose from and that can lead them to coming away with a positive result here.
