The second night of action in the latest UEFA Nations League round of matches takes place on Friday when some more big sides look to enhance their claims of achieving what they set out to achieve in the competition.
From a Home Nations point of view England are the main attraction but some really big nations take to the pitch on what looks like it should be a really entertaining evening of action across the continent.

Group A
It is all about the World Cup semi-finalists in the elite group on Friday night with three of them in action. Belgium play host to Switzerland in A2 while in A4 there is a repeat of the last four clash from Russia when England head to Croatia looking for revenge after being denied a spot in the trophy match in the summer. Whoever loses that match will be out of the tournament so there is plenty on it for both sides.
Group B
There is just the one match from the second tier of groups on Friday night which comes from B3 where another of the home nations are in action. Northern Ireland suffered a shock loss to Bosnia-Herzegovina in their opening match so they need to find a win when they head to Vienna to take on an Austrian side who probably should be delivering more than they have been doing in recent times.

Group C
There are two matches in Group C on Friday night and they both come from C2. The pick of them sees Greece taking on Hungary knowing that a win will have them in a very nice position to progress. The other match sees Finland making the lengthy journey to Estonia in a match they probably have more than half an eye on winning.
Group D
The two matches in Group D come from D2 as the improving minnows of Luxembourg will look to continue their decent recent form. They make the trip to Belarus for what looks the toughest match of the group for them on paper while in the other clash two struggling sides meet when Moldova entertain San Marino in a match both teams really need to win.

Betting
This is another tricky looking card and so there is only one bet for me in the evening and I head to the basement group for it where Luxembourg head to Belarus in the first of two matches between the nations which could determine the winners of D2.
I’ve mentioned before how Luxembourg are an improving nation at the minute and their two results in the group thus far have shown that. They have only lost one of their last eight matches and have already done some damage in this competition. Belarus are going the other way. Failing to beat Moldova doesn’t exactly inspire much in the way of confidence so I’m fancying the improving side here. Belarus might keep it tight but we can get Luxembourg with a goal start and that’s the bet for me.
