The fourth set of matches in the UEFA Nations League gets underway on Sunday with seven matches taking place all across the continent as the competition heads into the second half of the group phase.
Those who haven’t begun the competition will be starting to get towards the last chance saloon and the nations who have started well will be pushing either for a semi-final spot or to secure their promotion for the next staging of the event.
Group A
We only have the one match from Group A on Sunday and it comes from the east side of Europe where Poland will look to put their defeat from Thursday night behind them when they take on an Italy side who really need a victory to get themselves back into the mix with Portugal starting to get away from them.
Group B
We are in B2 for the only match in the second group on Sunday and it comes from the World Cup hosts in the summer in Russia. They will look to all but secure promotion to the elite group when they take on a Turkey side who will be fighting to avoid relegation should they be beaten by Russia for a second time in the group.
Group C
Three matches take place in Group C of the competition. Over in C1 Israel face Albania in Scotland’s group and with all three sides beginning the second half of the group on three points there is plenty to play for. The action actually begins in the early afternoon because in C4 Romania face Serbia in the early kick off. The other match in that section sees Lithuania hosting Montenegro.
Group D
We are in Group D3 for the basement matches on Sunday evening where Kosovo can take a huge leap towards a spot in Group C for next time around if they can pick up the win in the Faroe Islands. The other match sees Azerbaijan hosting Malta in a match the home side must win if they are to continue to challenge for promotion for the next campaign.

Betting
There are some really close looking matches on the card on Sunday evening but one match I don’t expect to be as tight as the others comes from Lithuania where they take on a Montenegro side who should be a lot shorter than they are.
Usually it might not be ideal that Stefan Savic will miss the match through injury but I don’t expect them to be doing a whole lot of defending here. More importantly Monaco forward Stevan Jovetic is available and he should have a pep in his step with a certain Thierry Henry to impress now. Lithuania look the weak link in this group and I expect Montenegro to show that on Sunday.
