The return of the Premier League continues on Saturday when four more matches take place as seven sides come out of the lockdown to restart their campaigns on a day where four different kick off times are in use.
That means that we can sit and watch around eight hours of live action without missing any of it throughout the day on Saturday, and with teams in the battle for Europe and to avoid the drop on show, it could be an important day.
Saturday’s fixtures are as follows: (UK kick off and TV in brackets)
Watford vs Leicester City (12.30 BT Sport)
Brighton and Hove Albion vs Arsenal (15.00 BT Sport)
West Ham United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (17.30 Sky Sports Main Event/PL)
AFC Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace (19.45 BBC One)

Preview
The action begins with what I’m sure will be dubbed as the Nigel Pearson derby as the Watford manager takes his charges into battle against his former club Leicester City. Both teams need the points for their individual needs so there shouldn’t be a lack of a competitive edge there. In years to come the match between Brighton and Hove Albion and Arsenal will be a pub quiz answer as it will be the first ever English league game to be televised at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. Both could do with the points in that one too.
That is also the case in the third match of the night when the action switches from BT Sport to Sky as West Ham United look to haul themselves clear of danger when they host a Wolverhampton Wanderers team who have the big time in their minds and a win would enhance their Champions League hopes. The last match of the day is another first as it will be the first Premier League match to be televised live on terrestrial TV. It sees Bournemouth hosting Crystal Palace in a clash the home side need to win having dropped into the bottom three before lockdown struck.
Betting
I’ll go with a couple of bets over the course of the day on Saturday, with the first of them coming at the Amex Stadium where I’m expecting to see goals. If I was a brave man I would take Arsenal to win and for there to be goals but I’m not quite so brave unfortunately. I do think the outing Arsenal had on Wednesday night will benefit them, even if they did spend much of the game chasing the ball around and because of that I think they’ll win the match but I find it hard to think they’ll keep a clean sheet. Brighton won at The Emirates earlier in the season so they should know there is nothing to fear and I expect them to have a bit of a go here. Over 2.5 goals looks perfectly acceptable to me in this one.
In the late game on the BBC I can’t resist a cheeky punt on Patrick van Aanholt to score first and anytime against Bournemouth. The Dutch star scored in both meetings with the Cherries last term and although he didn’t score the only goal in the reverse meeting between the two this season, he was substituted at 0-0 and the man who came on for him, Jeffrey Schlupp, got the winner. Clearly there is an issue that Bournemouth have down their right hand side when it comes to defending against Palace. I suspect it is that most of their attention goes on Wilfried Zaha and PVA is able to take advantage of that. We know van Aanholt gets forward regularly and he has a good free kick on him too. The 20/1 on him scoring first and the 8/1 anytime look a shade big.
