2020-21 Premier League – Monday 30th November Matches Tips and Betting Preview

The Premier League weekend comes to a close with yet another double header of action in the Monday Night Football and as we enter December after this game and the schedule gets even more chaotic all four teams will be eager to pick up three points here.

As with all of the matches in recent times these two are both live on TV so we can sit back and put our feet up for an evening of football which despite not having any of the Champions League teams in action does still have three teams who went into the weekend in the top half of the table.

Where to watch

The two matches will be shown in full on the Sky Main Event and Sky Premier League channels with the Monday Night Football show beginning at 5pm and then the opening match kicking off at 5.30pm.

Leicester City vs Fulham (17.30)

The opening match of the double header is one which will affect both ends of the table as Leicester City look to move level on points with the top two when they host a Fulham team who will be desperate for a win to come out of the bottom three for the first time in a while.

The Foxes were brought down to earth with a bump at Anfield last week but remain capable of taking care of teams like Fulham. What last week showed is that Leicester are probably not title contenders just yet but they will still move back level with the top two with a win here. Fulham have been playing much better in the last three or four matches than they were at the start of the season but they still lack a composure at both ends of the pitch which will be their undoing until it is solved.

I’m expecting to see some goals here in a Leicester City win. Leicester have the chance to be firing on all cylinders in attacking areas because Fulham are so open and poor at the back it is untrue, but to be fair to the Foxes they are still struggling for defensive weapons so it wouldn’t be the biggest surprise in the world if Fulham don’t find the net. Leicester are a pretty short price to win as a single but you can turn them into a decent price by backing them to win and there to be over 2.5 goals. 2-1 is a chance but Leicester can cover that total on their own.

West Ham United vs Aston Villa (20.00)

The last game of the weekend is a clash of the Claret and Blue as West Ham United host Aston Villa in a match which sees two sides much higher in the table than we are used to seeing them going at it inside the London Stadium.

Whoever wins this match will end the weekend in the top five in the table so that should act as a decent incentive for us to get a competitive encounter here. West Ham have lost one of their last seven, which came away to Liverpool where nobody wins so they are in decent touch and while Villa have hit the skids a little bit in recent times with one win in their last four, they are perfect away from home and haven’t conceded a single goal on the road this term yet.

You have to give David Moyes credit. He has got his side playing good football and to only lose one of their last seven in a run which has seen them play Man City, Tottenham, Liverpool, Leicester City and Wolves in that time suggests they are going well. Villa have won their three away games but two of them were at Fulham and Arsenal, neither of whom are going well. I fancy Villa could be flattered a little by those wins so I’m going to take a West Ham team who have shown lots of heart and fighting spirit this season. They look in decent nick and in what could be a tight game I’ll back them to edge this one.
