Preview

Two matches kick off at the same time to begin the day with one of them being huge for the bottom end of the table. Fulham can move to within one point of safety if they can win at Crystal Palace, who themselves did their relegation fears the world of good with a win on Monday night. While they are going at it in the capital, Leicester City will look to keep up their push for a place in the top four when they entertain Arsenal in one of the appealing matches of the day.

When those two games are done the attention remains in the capital as Tottenham Hotspur look to revive their poor league form when they play host to a Burnley team who look like they are getting their act together. The big match of the day is the penultimate one as Chelsea will look to move back into the top four when they play host to second placed Manchester United. The final match of the day sees Sheffield United continuing what looks like a forlorn hope of staying up when they host the current champions Liverpool for whom anything but a win here will severely damage their top four prospects.

Betting

There isn’t a huge amount that I like over the course of the day but there is one which interests me which comes from the King Power Stadium where I’m going to take on Leicester City with Arsenal. Leicester have done a lot of good things this season but much of their best football has come on the road. They have actually lost five of their 12 matches on their home patch and even more worrying than that they looked like a tired outfit when exiting the Europa League on Thursday night.

James Maddison missed that match and he is going to miss this one too as Leicester and their injury woes really start to bite them. Arsenal have been much improved since the end of the Europa League group stage and will be buoyed by making it through to the last 16 of that competition on Thursday. The Gunners have lost their last two away matches but they were comfortable at Wolves until a shocking VAR decision robbed them and they dominated against Aston Villa without finding the net. Arsenal aren’t in bad form performance wise though and with the injuries that Leicester have I think if anyone wins this game it will be the visitors.
