The Premier League weekend continues on Sunday when there are another four matches on a decent looking schedule, one which includes the leaders heading into this round of fixtures as well as the reigning champions.
There is a feeling that this could be a big day at both ends of the table and with all matches live on TV in the lead up to Christmas there is no reason not to sit back and put your feet up and watch one game after another.
Sunday’s fixtures are as follows: (UK kick off and TV in brackets)
West Bromwich Albion vs Crystal Palace (12.00 – Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)
Sheffield United vs Leicester City (14.15 – Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)
Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal (16.30 – Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)
Liverpool vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (19.15 – Amazon Prime Video)

The focus initially on Sunday will be on the bottom end of the table when West Bromwich Albion look to come out of the relegation zone when they look to follow up their win over Sheffield United when they host a Crystal Palace side who will be relieved to have Wilfried Zaha back. The second match has both ends of the table in play as Sheffield United go in search of that elusive first win of the campaign when they host a Leicester City side who were terrible on Monday night and will be looking for a big reaction here.
The big match of the day comes along in the third game of the afternoon when the leaders heading into the weekend, Tottenham Hotspur, host their bitter rivals Arsenal in front of 2,000 fans. Arsenal have struggled in recent times and really need to sort themselves out here. A huge day of action in the Premier League concludes at the home of the champions as Liverpool welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Anfield.
Betting
I’ll go with a couple of bets over the course of the day in the Premier League. The first of them comes at Bramall Lane where I expect Leicester City to bounce back from that mess of a performance last week when they take on Sheffield United. The Foxes have won four of their five away games this season with the one they didn’t win coming at Anfield against Liverpool and there is no shame in that. Sheffield United only have one point in 10 matches this term, which came against Fulham earlier in the campaign, with the only goal they have scored at Bramall Lane in five home games. In simple terms Sheffield United don’t score many goals and Leicester carry a significant goal threat. I expect them to win this one.
The other bet that I like sees Tottenham Hotspur to beat Arsenal in the North London Derby. Tottenham are absolutely flying at the minute and while it isn’t always pretty to watch they are operating at a different level to Arsenal at the minute. Admittedly that sort of thing can go out of the window in a derby game but I expect Spurs to show their worth here. Gary Neville did a wonderful piece on how Jose Mourinho is using two central midfielders to bolster his side defensively without the ball without stopping them from having an attacking threat so if that helps to keep the back door shut it is just hard to see Arsenal keeping a clean sheet against the likes of Son, Kane and whoever plays up top alongside them. Arsenal have gone into a right slump in the league with just one win in six. They have only scored twice in that period. They look there for the taking for a Spurs side that is beginning to impress more and more with each match.
