The truncated weekend in the Premier League concludes on Sunday afternoon with a pair of fixtures which will once again have both ends of the top flight table as the centre of attention on what could be a pivotal day.
Manchester City took another step towards the quadruple when they won in the FA Cup on Saturday, but Liverpool will be out to make their title chances a bit harder on Sunday. The other three sides in action all need the points too.

Fulham vs Liverpool (14.15)
The first match of the day is a huge one for both sides involved when Liverpool head to the capital to take on Fulham looking to pick up three points which will take them above Manchester City in the table. Fulham know they are pretty much drinking at the last chance saloon where the bell for last orders is about to ring.
Fulham go into the match a ridiculous 13pts from safety and they will only have seven matches left if they lose this game so if they harbour any hopes of getting out of trouble they have to win this game. Liverpool will move two points clear of Man City at the top if they can leave Craven Cottage with the three points so they will be eager to win too.
Given that both teams need, or want, to win this match I’m expecting goals to flow. It isn’t exactly a startling prediction with Fulham involved I admit but I’m surprised the line is only 3 goals here. Fulham have to go at Liverpool in this match not just because they need to win but because their defence is pathetic so they’ll only concede if they contain. Liverpool have bags of class in attack. I’m happy on the over here.

Everton vs Chelsea (16.30)
The second match of the afternoon probably doesn’t have the focus and attention on it now that it might have done a few weeks ago. Chelsea are beginning to fade from the top four reckoning although a win here will move them level on points with Arsenal. They head to an Everton side who are not really going anywhere.
This always looked like a tricky assignment to solve and it remains the case. I say that because Chelsea are coming in from the Ukraine which isn’t easy and Everton can’t be trusted so rather than go deep in the puzzle, after a wonderful day of football profit on Saturday I’ll stick with just the one bet here.
