The Premier League weekend continues on Sunday when another four matches are played out on the sort of bumper Sunday we are getting used to in this league since the action returned after lockdown, on a day where some tasty clashes take place.
We have a couple of derby matches, a big match at the bottom of the table and a game which could give us an indication of who might hang around at the top over the course of the four games, all of which are live on TV albeit two on PPV.
Sunday’s fixtures are as follows: (UK kick off and TV in brackets)
Sheffield United vs Fulham (12.00 – BT Box Office)
Crystal Palace vs Brighton and Hove Albion (14.00 – Sky Main Event & Sky Football)
Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United (16.30 – Sky Main Event & Sky Football)
Leicester City vs Aston Villa (19.15 – Sky Box Office)

Preview
The action begins at Bramall Lane where even this early in the season the match between Sheffield United and Fulham feels like a six pointer in the bid to beat the drop. Both sides are yet to register a point this season so they’ll be eager for that to change here. The M23 derby forms the second match on the card as Crystal Palace host rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in a clash which sees two teams who have looked better than expected meeting.
The big attention on the day comes in the third match of the afternoon where the second coming of Gareth Bale to Tottenham Hotspur could get underway when Jose Mourinho and his Spurs outfit host West Ham United who go in search of a third straight win. Another good looking day of football concludes at the King Power Stadium where Leicester City will be looking to bounce back from their surprise defeat to West Ham United last time out when they go up against an Aston Villa team probably still bouncing from their amazing victory over Liverpool prior to the international break.
Betting
For the second day in a row we have to wait until the final match for our bet to come along where I expect to see goals between Leicester City and Aston Villa when they close the show at the King Power Stadium on Sunday evening. Matches between these two generally provide goals and the trend of the Premier League so far this term is that it is a much higher scoring league than it has been in previous seasons so there is plenty to like about over 2.75 goals here.
The obvious thing is the confidence that Aston Villa will carry into the match having won their opening three matches. Much will be made of the way they tore Liverpool apart and rightly so but that came out of the signings they have made in a successful window. There is still an element of weakness at the back but in Ross Barkley, Ollie Watkins, Bertrand Traore et all they have significantly improved going forward. Leicester are always good going forward so these two should combine for enough goals to see the over 2.75 line come in safely.
