When the final London game of the NFL 2024 season is done the usual action in America takes place over two kick off slots on Sunday when Week 7 of the campaign continues with some really good matches for us to enjoy.
As ever, two of those matches will be live on the TV for us in the UK to enjoy across the evening while the RedZone coverage will give us all the big plays and the scoring action. Certain bookmakers will live stream the non-live games too.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)
We begin as far as the TV action is concerned in the UK with a dust up in the NFC North which could determine the early fate of the division when the unbeaten Minnesota Vikings return from their bye week when they host the Detroit Lions who will be looking to formulate a plan to go without Aidan Hutchinson. Six other matches take place in this time slot with two more divisional battles with the NFC East seeing the New York Giants hosting the Philadelphia Eagles while in the AFC North the Cleveland Browns will take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
That leaves us with four matches where the pick of them is the one at Lambeau Field where the Green Bay Packers play host to the Houston Texans in a clash between teams with winning records this season. Buffalo Bills took control of the AFC East when they beat the New York Jets last time out and they host a poor Tennessee Titans side while the Atlanta Falcons go up against the Seattle Seahawks while the other match sees Indianapolis Colts taking on the Miami Dolphins.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)
The big match in the second slate of games sees a repeat of the Super Bowl from last season taking place when the San Francisco 49ers will go in search of revenge when they host the Kansas City Chiefs in what is comfortably the pick of the matches this week. San Francisco haven’t really got going this season while the Chiefs head to California unbeaten for their campaign so it will be interesting to see if something gives in this one.
The Washington Commanders are the other leading side on show in the later set of matches. They currently lead the way in the NFC East and with the Eagles potentially likely to win earlier in the night, Washington will be looking for a win over the Carolina Panthers to stay on top of their division. The other match takes place at SoFi Stadium where the 1-4 Los Angeles Rams look to get their season into life and they host the 2-4 Las Vegas Raiders who are now devoid of leading receiver Davante Adams.
Betting
My bet for these games comes in the big matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs where I expect history to repeat itself from the Super Bowl. San Francisco couldn’t beat the Chiefs with Christian McCaffrey and I find it hard to think they will beat them without their talismanic running back. Kansas City Chiefs might not be winning matches in a dominant fashion but they are winning and they have just had their bye to take stock of where they are and everything.
The Chiefs’ defence is getting the job done this season and if Jordan Mason doesn’t lace up then that unit will have an easier time of it. There is something about San Francisco this season that their second half defensive displays have been quite ordinary and that isn’t a good thing when you consider that the more clutch times in games is generally when Patrick Mahomes and his offense come on strong. I can’t ignore the Chiefs at odds against here.
