CPL 2017 – Sunday 6th August Matches Betting Preview

The third day of the Caribbean Premier League sees the reverse fixtures of Saturday taking place at Lauderhill in America. The first two games on this ground on Saturday were low scoring but intriguing. Hopefully a few more runs and a bit more excitement can greet us on the final day of action in America for this CPL season.

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots vs Guyana Amazon Warriors

The first match sees the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots looking to secure back to back wins against the Guyana Amazon Warriors while the Warriors will be out for a bit of revenge after a fairly tame defeat on Saturday.

I went into this tournament thinking that the Patriots would be a good side. While they have plenty of power with the bat they have an attack which is good for all conditions and that came through for them on Saturday.

I don’t really see too much changing here. Guyana’s batting always looked light and that was how it played out on Saturday. I expect St Kitts and Nevis to come through and make it back to back wins here.

Jamaica Tallawahs vs Barbados Tridents

This match was the better of the two on Saturday and it may play out to be the better one on Sunday too as the former champions meet again when the Barbados Tridents take on the Jamaica Tallawahs.

Barbados saw off the Tallawahs on Saturday and at 4/5 I’m happy to take them to win again. Barbados had a bit to spare in the end in the first match between the two and it might not be easy for Jamaica to work out what went wrong for them in such a short space of time. The Tridents are an acceptable price in this one.
