It is the turn of Group C to conclude in the Gold Cup tournament on Tuesday night as Jamaica look to progress to the knockout stages once again. They go into the night in control of their own destiny but still need a result to make it through.
Curacao and El Salvador also harbour hopes of making it into the next round while Honduras will be playing out their final match of the group phase before departing having disappointed thus far in their campaign.
Jamaica vs Curacao (01.00)
The way the draw has gone in this group we have a huge game first up on the final night of this section when finalists in the last two Gold Cups, Jamaica, take on a Curacao side looking to qualify at their expense in what should be a very good start to the proceedings.
Jamaica know that if they draw this match they are into the knockout stages while Curacao need something from the game to give themselves a chance so the first goal here is going to be pretty crucial and as we saw in the Haiti vs Costa Rica match, it will open this one right up. Curacao did well to beat Honduras at the weekend but I think we’re all wondering how they did it. I expect Jamaica to score in this match which as I say will instantly open the game right up. With that in mind I think over 2 goals is very much the way to go here.

Honduras vs El Salvador (03.30)
The second match of the night is the real grudge match between local rivals Honduras and El Salvador in a clash in which there is never much love and there isn’t likely to be any here either. Honduras know they are out of the tournament but they would still love to take El Salvador down with them. El Salvador just need to better Curacao’s result to progress and could win the group with a win.
El Salvador haven’t impressed me enough in this tournament to convince me that they can be relied upon while Honduras can’t seem to find the back of the net, try and they might. That makes me want to think outside the box in terms of a bet here. I’ve already lost a bet on cards in a Honduras match this campaign but I’m going with over 4 Asian cards again here Fernando Guerrero of Mexico is the arbiter for this match and he has refereed these two before a couple of years ago when he dished out four cards. With Honduras having nothing to play for and El Salvador having to get a result I can see this one not needing a lot to get tetchy and explode into carnage. I think we’ll see a few cards from the Mexican referee here.
