The bulk of the latest round of MLS matches will be played on Saturday night with nine fixtures in total up and down the USA and Canada. Both Conferences are beginning to take shape now even this early in the season so there will be some interest in most of the matches.
Saturday’s fixtures are as follows (UK kick off time in brackets):
Montreal Impact vs Vancouver Whitecaps (20.00)
Orlando City vs Colorado Rapids (20.55)
Columbus Crew vs New York City (00.30)
New York Red Bulls vs Chicago Fire (00.30)
FC Dallas vs Portland Timbers (01.00)
Minnesota United vs San Jose Earthquakes (01.00)
Sporting Kansas City vs Real Salt Lake (01.30)
Seattle Sounders vs New England Revolution (03.00)
Los Angeles Galaxy vs Philadelphia Union (03.30)
Big Matches
The two sides many people believe are the best in Major League Soccer meet in Dallas when FC Dallas play the Portland Timbers in a huge Western Conference clash while two sides looking for big things in the East meet in the TV game in the UK when New York Red Bulls face Chicago Fire.
The other TV match in the UK sees Orlando City on our screens once again when they host the Colorado Rapids. Columbus Crew and New York City is another big game.
Best of the Rest
There is a Canadian clash between Montreal Impact and Vancouver Whitecaps while Los Angeles Galaxy will be looking to make up for last week’s defeat when they host the awful Philadelphia Union. Seattle Sounders will be looking to build on that win when they host the New England Revolution.

Betting
After an annoying loss on Friday night I’m going with just the two picks on Saturday and they both see home sides who I think will win hopefully doing the business.
In the Canadian clash I like Montreal Impact. With Ignacio Piatti back I expect them to find some form and consistency especially at home. Vancouver Whitecaps have played three matches on the road and haven’t really convinced me in any of them. I don’t see them as much of a side and if Montreal are going to do anything this season they need to win this. They came from 3-0 down to draw last week and can build on that here.
Columbus Crew have been a tough side to beat this season especially on their own patch. They have good looking wins over the Portland Timbers and Toronto FC at home and I think they can see off the New York City FC side too. NYC don’t convince me as much on the road this season as they have in previous ones and the Crew look a spot of value in that game.
