The latest set of matches as the MLS regular season looks to return to something resembling normality in terms of the schedule continues on Friday night as four more fixtures take place across both Conferences.
The action on Friday isn’t limited to America either, we have another of the Canadian matches on show too and with one match live on TV in the UK and the other three on the various bookmaker streaming consoles, there is no need to miss a single kick.

FC Cincinnati vs DC United (00.30 – Free Sports)
Minnesota United vs Sporting Kansas City (00.30)
Houston Dynamo vs FC Dallas (01.00)

Preview
The live game for those of us in the UK comes from Ohio where FC Cincinnati will look to continue their improvement under Jaap Stam when they host a DC United outfit who have plenty to prove after a disappointing MLS is Back tournament last month. The pick of the matches on the night however looks to be the Western Conference clash between the top two of that division when second placed Minnesota United host the leaders Sporting Kansas City in a tasty encounter.
Elsewhere on the evening there is a Texan derby when the Houston Dynamo host their localish rivals FC Dallas in a match both teams could do with winning after poor recent results while the other match on the night is a repeat of a clash earlier in the week and Toronto FC host the Vancouver Whitecaps once again. Toronto won 3-0 in their previous meeting so the Whitecaps will be out for revenge in this one while Toronto will look to keep the heat on Columbus Crew with a win of their own.
Betting
A couple of bets tempt me over the course of the night but I’ll restrict myself to just the one which comes in one of the better looking matches on the evening as Minnesota United take on Sporting Kansas City. These are two sides who made the most of their opportunity at the MLS is Back tournament and have given themselves an excellent platform to build from over the remainder of the regular season.
I’m actually a little surprised that Minnesota are the outsiders for this match. I think man for man they are the better of the two sides and they actually beat Sporting Kansas City at the MLS is Back tournament last month, producing a late rally to win 2-1 despite being without some key men, one or two of whom are back for this match. Kansas City are in danger of being one of those sides who create a whole lot but don’t convert enough of them and with a clinical edge at both ends of the pitch, Minnesota United can take advantage of that. I like them on the draw no bet line.
