A high scoring Sunday which has delivered great matches along with some shocks and surprises concludes as ever with the Sunday Night Football which is another divisional clash on a day that has been full of them.
This time we head to the NFC East where the defending Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles take on their rivals the Dallas Cowboys in a match which could have a massive implication on the overall title in the division.
Philadelphia Eagles
The defending champions come out of their bye week 4-4 for the season and in need of a number of wins. Washington’s win at Tampa Bay has sent them two games clear of the Eagles so it is imperative that Philadelphia win this match to keep the heat on the Redskins over the last seven weeks of the regular season.
If the Eagles are going to push for the division title then they are going to have to pick up their home form. They have lost their last two at the Linc and they are unlikely to reel in the Redskins if they don’t pick up their form in front of their own fans. Having had the bye week after the Wembley win you would like to think they have worked out where they can improve and set about sorting it.
Dallas Cowboys
After their humbling by the Tennessee Titans on Monday night the pressure is really building on the Dallas Cowboys and all sorts of questions are suddenly coming their way. There is no doubt they are underachieving and it would be a major surprise if head coach Jason Garrett is still working once the season comes to a close.
The other question that is beginning to be asked is whether Dak Prescott is as good as the hype or whether Ezekiel Elliott made him look good two years ago. Those questions are getting louder by the week and often when that is the case professional sportsmen show their worth, if they have it in them that is.

Betting
I was thinking this might be a really close divisional battle until we saw Sean Lee go down on Monday night. We saw how weak the Dallas Cowboys defence was after he left the field and you have to fear for them against what is still a decent enough Philadelphia Eagles attack even allowing for their injuries.
Philly have had two weeks off so I would imagine they would have been doing a lot of work on negating the Cowboys and making sure they come out of this match with the win. I can’t emphasise the loss of Lee enough for Dallas and with that in mind I’ll take the home side to cover 7.5pts.
