The Week 13 starter in the NFL comes from AT&T Stadium where two NFC division toppers collide in a huge match as the Dallas Cowboys play host to the New Orleans Saints with the postseason spots very much in focus.
The Saints go into the contest knowing that if they win out they will secure the number one seed but any slip up opens the door to the Los Angeles Rams. The Cowboys hit the front in the NFC East last week but need to keep winning to guarantee staying there.
Dallas Cowboys
It is rare that a side can play on the Thursday night and have the whole week to prepare but that is the luxury afforded to the Dallas Cowboys after they played on Thanksgiving Day last week. Unfortunately for them they gain no advantage from it because their opponents are in the same boat. The one positive is that they have had the full week to nurse any bumps and bruises.
Slowly but surely we are seeing the Cowboys offense cranking up to full gear. A lot of the reason for that is the addition of Amari Cooper and he had a breakthrough week against Washington last time out. He offers the deep threat that can create space for Ezekiel Elliott and some of the other receivers so there is every reason to believe that Dallas will end the season strongly.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints also played on Thanksgiving where they extended their current winning run to 10 matches and as such they take a 10-1 record into this contest with them. They are looking like the best team in the NFL at the current time but their task will be to maintain their intensity not just for the remainder of the regular season but also the postseason to come.
This Saints offense is beginning to look unstoppable at the present time. They have scored 30pts or more in each of their last five matches and there is no sign of that run ending anytime soon. More worryingly for their opponents their defence is beginning to come to the party as well. They have only leaked more than 24pts once since week three.

Betting
This should be a cracking match between two sides who love to give the ball a bit of air and get down the field as quickly as they possibly can. As such I fancy we are going to see an offense dominated game. Both have balanced offenses so if the pass isn’t working they can go to the run and vice versa.
I expect plenty of touchdowns in this match. They both have running backs who can punch drives into the end zone and both have receivers capable of outpacing the defence to get themselves in for a touchdown. I’m actually a little surprised the line is at six given the improvement in the Dallas offense recently but I’m happy to take it.
