We are set for a special Sunday in the NFL as the main set of matches in Week 11 take place up and down America. The Sunday night game has been flexed but that has not detracted from the games lined up in the early fixtures.
As ever with the early matches we have a nice mix of divisional games and big meaning clashes and with the end of the regular season beginning to loom large on the horizon for many each game from here on in is very significant.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)
There are only seven matches in the early kick off time but two of them are divisional battles including the one that is live on TV for those of us who happen to be in the UK. That match sees the Indianapolis Colts hosting the Tennessee Titans in the AFC South while in the North the Baltimore Ravens take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
Elsewhere there is a must win game at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium as the Atlanta Falcons host the Dallas Cowboys while the Detroit Lions welcome Carolina Panthers to motor town. Two struggling sides meet at MetLife Stadium when New York Giants take on Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the Washington Redskins and the Houston Texans meeting in a big match and the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Pittsburgh Steelers doing battle too.
4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)
There are three matches in the later set of matches with the TV game looking like a right tasty tussle as the seemingly unstoppable New Orleans Saints hosting the champions Philadelphia Eagles in what should be a strong offensive encounter. Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos meet in an all-AFC West clash with the other match seeing Arizona Cardinals hosting the Oakland Raiders in a game which might have implications on the number one draft pick.

Betting
I’ll go with three bets over the course of these matches. AJ Green continuing to be out is going to hurt the Cincinnati Bengals and with their defence having been blown apart in recent times I think they are there for the taking for the Baltimore Ravens. Joe Flacco misses his first match for the Ravens but that will only let Lamar Jackson loose and I think their offense can be much more dynamic under him. Baltimore have to give up 6.5pts but I think they can do that with a bit to spare.
Arizona Cardinals are not having the best of seasons but they have the chance to rectify that a little when they host an Oakland Raiders side who checked out for the campaign a few weeks ago. The Raiders are struggling massively on offense. In four of their last five matches they have been kept to 10pts or less so Arizona aren’t going to need to do anything special to win this. If they can get ahead early they should power clear and cover a 4.5 handicap.
In the main game in the later matches I’m expecting two very strong offenses to deliver more than 6.5 touchdowns. Nobody has really contained the New Orleans Saints offense yet and I’m not convinced that Philadelphia Eagles are going to be the first but there is yardage and touchdowns in the Eagles offense as we’ve seen over the last few seasons. I’m surprised we can get even money on over 6.5 touchdowns but I’m happy to take it.
