Week 12 of the NFL season continues on Sunday and after a wonderfully entertaining triple header to get the round of matches underway on Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, the sides in action have a lot to live up to over the course of the evening.
Due to three matches being moved to Thursday there are only nine matches on show across the two kick off times on Sunday but as ever two of them are on TV for those of us who are in the UK. Once again we have some divisional clashes and some tasty matchups.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)
There are six matches in the early round of games and three of them are divisional clashes. One of those makes up the TV match as the champions Philadelphia Eagles host the New York Giants in the NFC East. There AFC North also sees a divisional match as the Cincinnati Bengals host the Cleveland Browns while in the AFC East the New York Jets welcome the New England Patriots to MetLife Stadium.
Baltimore Ravens take on the Oakland Raiders in one of the non-divisional matches in this set of games while the Carolina Panthers go up against the Seattle Seahawks in a juicy looking game too. The other match in this session sees the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers doing battle in Florida.
4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)
There are three matches in the later sets of games on Sunday but none of them are divisional clashes. The TV game comes from Colorado where the Denver Broncos welcome the surging Pittsburgh Steelers to town. Indianapolis Colts host Miami Dolphins in a battle of two 5-5 sides with the Los Angeles Chargers playing host to the Arizona Cardinals in the other match.

Betting
I’ll go with a couple of bets on Sunday and they both come in the early games. In the TV match I think New York Giants can stay within their handicap against Philadelphia Eagles. We saw last week that the Philadelphia offense is really struggling and they might not find this Giants defence much easier to score against. The Giants are finally beginning to get the ball into the hands of their star playmakers and they will begin to look better as a result. They have won their last two matches, admittedly against poor opposition but wins are wins and I think they have the power on offense and quality in their defence to stay within 5 here.
The other bet I like is for Baltimore Ravens to overpower the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders are nothing special at all and they might just have given up for the season already. They look weak as anything on offense so it is hard to see them putting up too many points against a Baltimore defence that is as tough as teak. Lamar Jackson should have it in him to lead his side up and down the field be it through the air of on the ground and when they get ahead I don’t expect the Ravens to look back in this one.
