We have already had three exciting and competitive matches in week 15 of the NFL regular season and on Sunday all but one of the remaining games will be played with the baulk of them in the usual two early kick off times.
There are a couple of really tasty looking matches on the schedule and plenty more that will have a big bearing on the destiny of sides in relation to the postseason so we should be get for a cracking Sunday evening of action.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)
The live match in the first set of matches for those of us who are in the UK sees the Minnesota Vikings taking on the Miami Dolphins seven days after the Miami miracle against New England. Both sides need to win that to maintain their playoff hopes. There is one divisional tussle too as the Chicago Bears look to win the NFC North when they go up against the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field.
There are a number of matches elsewhere on the card with the Atlanta Falcons hosting the Arizona Cardinals, the Baltimore Ravens go up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while the Detroit Lions head to the Buffalo Bills. Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders get the chance to pick up a rare win while the Dallas Cowboys look to maintain their control of the NFC East when they go to the Indianapolis Colts. The other two matches sees the Jacksonville Jaguars going up against the Washington Redskins and the New York Giants meeting the Tennessee Titans.

The pick of the matches in the second set of games is actually the TV game as the Pittsburgh Steelers host the New England Patriots in a match which we could very well see again next month in the playoffs in some way, shape or form. Both sides will be looking to put something of a market down in that game.
The other match in the later starts is a clash from the NFC West where the San Francisco 49ers take on a Seattle Seahawks side who still very much have an interest in the postseason but need to win on the road to keep that chance in their own hands.

Betting
I like three bets over the course of the evening with the first coming in the NFC North showdown as the Chicago Bears take on the Green Bay Packers in what I expect to be a low scoring game. We saw Green Bay really struggle offensively when these two sides met earlier in the season and it was only the magic of Aaron Rodgers that recovered a lost cause but the Packers have weakened since then and the Bears defence has cranked up a notch. I’m not expecting Green Bay to dominate at all here but they have enough on defence to maintain a chance of getting something from the game. Whoever wins and how I expect the scoring to stay under 46.5pts.
Seattle Seahawks are on a decent run at the minute and there is no reason why that won’t continue in California where they take on the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers aren’t really going anywhere this term unlike the Seahawks who are right in the playoff mix. The visitors have Doug Baldwin back to complement their offense in this match as well and with their defence cranking it up all of a sudden I expect the visitors to pick up an important road win with a fair bit of a margin.
In the big game at Heinz Field I expect the offenses of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots to combine for more than 6.5 touchdowns. Both sides compete much better with the ball in their hands than against it and given that both will be wanting to win and put a marker down on the other I can see this one developing into a shootout pretty easily. Two of the best passers in the game should make the scoring drives pretty quick and with both men having options to stretch defences I fancy the touchdowns will come along pretty regularly. At even money over 6.5 touchdowns looks the way forward to me in this one.
