NFL 2019 – Week 11 Sunday Early Games Tips and Betting Preview

It has been a controversial start to week 11 in the NFL season and that leaves us wondering what the rest of the round of matches will provide us with. The majority of those games come in the usual two Sunday kick offs.

As ever those of us in the UK will be treated to a couple of matches live on TV and then we can keep up with everything else on the Red Zone coverage so on a freezing cold night there is no reason to leave the house.

1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)

The TV match in the first set of games looks very good as the Baltimore Ravens host the Houston Texans in a battle of two sides who have positive records for the season. That also means we get to see two of the best quarterbacks in the league going at it when Lamar Jackson takes on DeShaun Watson so this should be a cracker. There are four divisional games in this slot as well with the New Orleans Saints heading to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins hosting the Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers facing up against the Atlanta Falcons.

The other three matches in this kick off time sees the useless Washington Redskins hosting the marginally less useless New York Jets, Minnesota Vikings taking on the Denver Broncos and an interesting NFC clash at Ford Field where two underperforming sides in my eyes meet when the Detroit Lions play host to the Dallas Cowboys.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)

There is a repeat of the Super Bowl from two seasons ago which will be the focus of the televised attention in the UK and the majority of America. That sees the Philadelphia Eagles playing host to the team they beat to win that title, the New England Patriots in a pretty big game for the 5-4 home side.

Two other matches make up this session of action with the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Arizona Cardinals and in the other match the Oakland Raiders will look to strengthen their claims for a play-off berth in the AFC when they go up against the only winless side in the league now in the form of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Betting

Just the one bet for me over this set of matches, which comes in the big game in the later starting time. That is the one between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots. I don’t know whether revenge is on the mind of the Patriots or not but I think they will get it anyway. I get that Philadelphia is always a tough place to go but I still think the Patriots can win there.

The only match the Patriots have lost this season was against the Baltimore Ravens last time out but Lamar Jackson is a superstar who few have contained. Carson Wentz certainly isn’t that. I expect the New England defence to get back to playing the sort of football they were because they encountered Jackson and friends and if they do that Brady and co can cover a four point start.
