NFL 2019 – Week 9 Sunday Early Games Tips and Betting Preview

When the NFL finishes at London the rest of the Sunday matches take place out in America and with some sides reaching the halfway mark of their campaign and others going into the second half of it we should see yet more competitive action.

We will have two matches live on the TV in the UK and as always the wonderful Red Zone show can allow us to remain up to date with our bets on all the other games so there is no reason to miss anything over the course of the evening.

1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)

With bye weeks for some, a London match and the usual Thursday, Sunday and Monday night matches, we are left with just the six games in the first part of the normal slot on Sunday evening. The TV match in this kick off time is the match of the night where the Minnesota Vikings take on the Kansas City Chiefs. There is only one divisional match in this slot as well. That sees two of the worst teams opposing each other as the Miami Dolphins host the New York Jets.

Elsewhere the Philadelphia Eagles go up against the Chicago Bears with the win key for both sides in the race for a wildcard spot in the playoffs. Buffalo Bills will look to keep up their chase for a similar spot in the AFC when they host the Washington Redskins while the Carolina Panthers will look to bounce back from last week’s shellacking when they take on the Tennessee Titans while the other match pits the 5-2 Indianapolis Colts heading to the 3-4 Pittsburgh Steelers.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)

There are just the four matches in the later of the two slots on Sunday night and the TV choice is a little bit of a surprising one as it sees the Oakland Raiders hosting the Detroit Lions in a match between two sides who aren’t really going anywhere with their season at the present time. To be fair the list of choice wasn’t the best.

The other three matches don’t look a whole lot more inspiring either it has to be said. Cleveland Browns travel to the Denver Broncos in one of them while the pick of the matches is probably the featuring the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Chargers. The other match sees Seattle Seahawks taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Betting

There isn’t a huge amount that I like in these matches if I’m honest. Having already had a winner on Thursday night and with two matches to come this weekend I’m happy to play just the one bet on Sunday evening which comes in one of the later kick offs as the Cleveland Browns head to Colorado to face the Denver Broncos.

Both these sides aren’t going to be troubling the postseason but one of them will have to win here and I’m happy enough to take the Browns in this one. We’ve seen throughout the campaign that Cleveland have been better away from the intensity of their home crowd and they head to take on a side who are without their starting quarterback Joe Flacco. Admittedly the Denver defence is still a tough nut to crack but the Browns have enough options to do it and I think they can cover four points at Mile High.

Tips

Back Cleveland Browns (-4) to beat Denver Broncos for a 4/10 stake at 1.91 with William Hill
