NFL 2020 – Week 14 Sunday Early Games Tips and Betting Preview

The NFL week got underway in competitive style on Thursday night and with the race for the postseason and the divisional titles beginning to intensify there is a lot to look forward to when it continues in the regular kick off slots on Sunday.

As always on a Sunday in the NFL there are two games in these early slots for us to enjoy live on Sky while the best of the action in the other matches is available on RedZone. The other matches can also be watched on the bookmaker streams too.

1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)

The televised offering in the first set of games comes from down in Florida where two sides with their eye on the latter stages of the play-offs in the AFC when the Miami Dolphins host the champions Kansas City Chiefs who will win the AFC West title if they come out on top in this match. There is one divisional match in this first slot of games as the Tennessee Titans look to remain in control in the AFC South when they make the trip to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The other matches in the early slot see the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosting the Minnesota Vikings in a match neither can afford to lose. That is the case too for the Arizona Cardinals when they travel to a New York Giants side whose sudden surge in form means they go into the week on top of the NFC East table. Two poor sides meet when the Cincinnati Bengals host the Dallas Cowboys and their former quarterback Andy Dalton while the Chicago Bears take on the Houston Texans and the Carolina Panthers meet the Denver Broncos.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)

There are six matches in the later slot of matches with the TV game being of real importance for the Indianapolis Colts as they continue to chase the AFC South title. They make the trip to take on the Las Vegas Raiders who themselves can’t afford to lose if they are going to make it into the play-offs this season. There is one divisional match in this set of games too as the Detroit Lions host a Green Bay Packers side who might be able to win the NFC North title with a win here if the Minnesota Vikings have lost earlier in the day.

The other four matches sees the Seattle Seahawks looking to keep up the heat on the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West when they host the winless New York Jets while the San Francisco 49ers meet the NFC East title chasing Washington Football Team. The other two matches sees the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the New Orleans Saints who will be crowned NFC South champions with a win, and the Los Angeles Chargers taking on the Atlanta Falcons.

Betting

I’ll go with just the one bet on the card on Sunday and it comes away from the TV games in the UK and sees two of the weaker record sides in the league meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers takes on the Atlanta Falcons in a match where I actually fancy the visitors at odds against. Los Angeles Chargers come into this match off the back of being shutout by the New England Patriots last week and their overall form is not good at the minute despite the promising talents of Justin Herbert.

Since their coaching change earlier in the season the Atlanta Falcons are 4-3 but two of the three defeats have been against the New Orleans Saints so we can forgive them those. Even then they were extremely competitive against the Saints last week, albeit one devoid of Drew Brees. It isn’t ideal that Julio Jones won’t be suiting up for this match but the Falcons have enough options in the receiver positions to cope without him and if their defence can avoid coughing up big plays Atlanta can win this.

Tips

Back Atlanta Falcons to beat Los Angeles Chargers for a 3/10 stake at 2.05 with Sky Bet
