The bulk of the NFL matches for week four of the season take place in the usual Sunday slots although we have lost a couple from the schedule with Covid-19 positive tests meaning two have been postponed.
That still leaves us with 11 matches to enjoy, two of which are on the TV for us here in the UK and the others on the live streams with certain bookmakers. There is also RedZone as well so there are plenty of ways of keeping up with all the action.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)
There are eight matches in the first of the kick off slots with the televised offering for us in the UK seeing the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Cleveland Browns in a match which is pretty big for both teams but particularly the home side who are 1-2 for the season to date. They should really be 0-3 because the win they picked up they stole from miles back against the Atlanta Falcons. The Browns are in the hardest division in the AFC so can’t afford many more slip ups.
Seven other matches take place in this kick off slot with the Carolina Panthers taking on the 2-1 Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions welcoming the New Orleans Saints to Ford Field. Houston Texans take on the Minnesota Vikings while the Miami Dolphins will be looking to make the most of their long week when they go up against the Seattle Seahawks. The other two matches sees the Tampa Bay Buccaneers welcoming the Los Angeles Chargers to Florida and Washington Football Team taking on the Baltimore Ravens.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)
With the match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots being called off because of Cam Newton’s positive Covid-19 test, we are down to three matches in this kick off slot. The new TV game sees the 2-1 Las Vegas Raiders hosting the 3-0 Buffalo Bills in a big match for both teams. The other two games see the Los Angeles Rams taking on the winless New York Giants and an interesting match at Soldier Field where the Chicago Bears meet the Indianapolis Colts with both sides taking winning records into the encounter with them.
Betting
I’ll take just the one bet over the course of these matches on Sunday. We’re not really seeing much in the way of consistency at the minute so I don’t really want to push the boat out too much just yet particularly with a few of the lines just the wrong side of the 0.5 threshold for my liking. The bet I like comes in the later section of matches where the Chicago Bears host the Indianapolis Colts in a match I think the side from the AFC will come out on top in.
It has been a month of when will Nick Foles take over from Mitchell Trubisky and while the temporary answer was last week the concrete one is this week but I can’t help but think all that uncertainty can’t be helpful. It was always going to take a few weeks for Philip Rivers to get to grips with the Indianapolis offense with no pre-season and training camps near enough null and void but he is visibly getting there more and more each game and that natural progression makes me think that the Colts, much the better of these two man for man and depth wise, can come out on top here.
