We have a bit of a reduced Sunday for Week 12 of the NFL 2021 season after three matches from the schedule were moved to the Thanksgiving Day triple header, but we are still left with 10 matches in the usual two kick off slots.
As ever on a Sunday two of those are live on the TV for us to enjoy in the UK and then the other eight matches will get all the main plays shown on the Red Zone coverage. Bookmaker streams will also show some of the matches.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)
The New England Patriots are back on our screens on this side of the pond on Sunday. They will look to continue the winning run which has seen them soar to the head of the AFC East when they host the Tennessee Titans in a match which could have seeding implications in the AFC come the end of the season. There are six other matches in this first kick off slot with two of them being divisional battles. In the AFC North the Cincinnati Bengals welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers while out in the NFC East the New York Giants host the Philadelphia Eagles.
That leaves us with four more matches with the big one seeing the in form Indianapolis Colts, for whom Jonathan Taylor is beginning to emerge as an MVP candidate, hosting the champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The other six teams on show all have losing records. Two 2-8 teams meet when the Houston Texans take on the New York Jets while the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Atlanta Falcons. The better match of the three sees the Miami Dolphins taking on Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)
Just the three matches take place in the later of the two kick off slots and it is the pick of the entire day which will be on the TV for us in the UK to enjoy, and enjoy we should be able to do when two of the best teams in the NFC collide in a match which has huge implications on the season as a whole when the Green Bay Packers welcome a familiar foe in Matt Stafford and his Los Angeles Rams to Lambeau Field. The Rams are under huge pressure to make the Super Bowl this season and are showing signs of cracking under that expectancy while Green Bay have hit a sticky patch.
We have a divisional clash and one other game in this slate of games. It is the AFC West where two rival teams meet as the Denver Broncos will hope the bye week has rejuvenated them when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers who seem to be involved in high scoring classics at the minute. The other match sees the Minnesota Vikings taking on the Seattle Seahawks in what could be a sleeper for the best game of the day.
Betting
There isn’t a huge amount I like over the course of the day here. If Aaron Jones is passed fit I might end up backing the Green Bay Packers as outsiders but his involvement is far too 50:50 for my liking at this stage. That leaves me with just the one bet over the course of the day and that comes over at MetLife Stadium where the New York Giants look to rebound from their Monday Night Football loss when they play host to the Philadelphia Eagles in what is sure to be a competitive affair.
The Eagles are only giving up a field goal and I expect them to cover that here. I say that because the Giants have one of the worst rushing defence in the league and played the Monday night game so haven’t had a complete full week to recuperate from what was actually a bit of a beating in that game in Tampa Bay. Maybe more of a concern for the Giants is that their offense, even with players back, just isn’t functioning and with Philadelphia suddenly getting plenty of pressures on the quarterbacks and dialling up plenty of blitzes I expect the Eagles to both restrict the Giants’ output and gash them with the run and cover this field goal.
