NFL 2022 – Week 12 Sunday Early Games Tips and Betting Preview

We have already had three matches in Week 12 of the NFL 2022 season as they took place on Thanksgiving Day and the majority of the rest of the games take place in the two early kick off slots on a good looking Sunday.

The schedule for Sunday is a familiar one for us in the UK with a TV game to watch in full in both kick off times as well as the RedZone coverage throughout the night. Most of the matches are available at certain bookmakers too.

1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)

Two sides with winning records who have their eyes on as much as a deep run in the postseason meet in the TV game for us in the UK in this first slot when the Tennessee Titans take on the Cincinnati Bengals in a match both need to win to keep their division hopes alive, particularly the visitors. There are six other matches in this first slot and surprisingly none of them are divisional battles which is unusual.

The Bengals will be hoping that the Baltimore Ravens slip up when they head to an average Jacksonville Jaguars side. The other side with a 7-3 record on show in this slot are the Miami Dolphins. They go on the road to a very poor Houston Texans. The other matches see the Denver Broncos heading to the Carolina Panthers, while the Cleveland Browns host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The New Yok Jets welcome the Chicago Bears to the Big Apple while an improving Washington Commanders take on Atlanta Falcons in the other game.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)

We head to California for the TV game in the later kick off slot where the San Francisco 49ers will be looking for another win to keep up their challenge in the NFC West. They welcome a New Orleans Saints side who just haven’t been able to find any real sort of consistency for the season. In terms of profile though the pick of the matches comes from Arrowhead Stadium where the Kansas City Chiefs host the current champions Los Angeles Rams who pretty much need to win out from here if they are going to be in action in January.

Two other matches take place across the evening with one of those seeing the Seattle Seahawks looking to continue to set the pace in the NFC West when they welcome a Las Vegas Raiders of whom a lot more was expected of this season to Lumen Field. The other match comes from the home of the Super Bowl this season as the Arizona Cardinals look to keep their feint hopes of being at their own party alive when they welcome the Los Angeles Chargers.

Betting

I’ll take one over the course of these matches and that comes in the later of the two time slots where a refreshed Seattle Seahawks can run all over the Las Vegas Raiders – literally. The Raiders rank last against the run in the entire NFL and running the ball is the go to method for the Seahawks so this looked a particularly bad matchup for the Raiders even before we take into account that Seattle have just had their bye after their trip to Germany.

That trip saw them have a four-match unbeaten run come to an end but prior to that they were in good working order. The Raiders actually ended three matches without a win themselves last week but in the Denver Broncos they didn’t beat a whole lot and still had to go to overtime at altitude which might leave a mark. Derek Carr is never the most convincing on the road and while you can put up points on this Seattle defence, whether the Raiders D can control the run long enough for them to do it remains to be seen. I think the home side can control all aspects of this match and come out on top with a bit in hand.
