After an entertaining opening to week seven of the NFL season on Thursday, the majority of the matches take place in the usual two kick off slots on Sunday in a week which feels like a pivotal one as we head past the first third of the campaign.
As with every Sunday in the NFL we have two live games in full to enjoy on the TV while the Red Zone show will give us all the scoring plays in every game taking place. Certain bookmakers will also stream the games that aren’t live on TV in full in the UK.
1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)
We begin at the home of the Baltimore Ravens in terms of the TV action on Sunday when the team who were winning in London last week play host to a much improved and possible Super Bowl candidates Detroit Lions in one of the featured matches on the day. Both teams have winning records which they will be looking to enhance. Both teams sit on top of their division so they should combine for a cracking contest.
Five other matches take place in the first of the two kick off slots with three of them being divisional battles. The leaders of the NFC South, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, host the Atlanta Falcons while the New York Giants meet the Washington Commanders in the NFC East. Over in the AFC East the New England Patriots will look to get something going when they host the Buffalo Bills. The other two matches see the Chicago Bears hosting the Las Vegas Raiders and the Indianapolis Colts welcoming the Cleveland Browns.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)
We head to the AFC West for the TV game in the second slot of matches on Sunday as the champions Kansas City Chiefs are back in action when they go up against a Los Angeles Chargers who will be looking to rebound from their defeat to the Dallas Cowboys in the Monday Night Football. The Chiefs have made their way to the top of the division with five successive wins and go up against a Chargers who are now 2-3 for the year after that Monday loss.
Three other matches take place in this second part of the evening. We have one divisional battle which comes in the NFC West at Lumen Field where the Seattle Seahawks will look to close in on the San Francisco 49ers in the division when they host the Arizona Cardinals. Elsewhere, the Denver Broncos will host the Green Bay Packers and we have what could be an interesting match between the Los Angeles Rams and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Betting
This looks like a fairly competitive day but there is a player prop bet that I like which comes in the form of the receiving yards of Tyler Lockett, where he has a line which feels a little on the low side at 57.5. Admittedly he has only covered this twice in his five matches so far but there is more than enough to suggest that he can cover that in this match, not least that he comes into this contest off the back of 94 yards in the defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals last week.
The big thing for us here is the Arizona Cardinals are missing a bunch of players in their secondary and you would expect wide receivers to fill their boots against them for a little while. Arizona have struggled to contain receivers all season and it might be that their main attention will be on DK Metcalf, who doesn’t look completely fit to me. Lockett caught for 94 yards on six receptions last week and 54 on four catches against a much better New York Giants defence the week before. I think he’s got 58 in him here.
